11/30/2016NIGHT CONSTRUCTION

 

I-95 Ramps

Due to construction, the ramps from northbound and southbound I-95 to I-695 Eastbound (INNER LOOP) will be closed overnight Effective 10pm to 5 am Sunday December 4 to Thursday December 8.  No permit loads allowed during this time. 

I-895 Spur B   

Due to construction,  the SB ramp from I-895 to I-895 Spur B, no loads over 10 ft wide allowed. Effective 10pm Friday December 9 to to 5 am Monday December 12.

Due to construction, the SB ramp from I-895 to I-895 Spur B, no loads over 10 ft wide allowed. Effective 10pm Friday December 16 to to 5 am Monday December 19.

WEATHER ALERT: A reminder to check your route for Snow Emergency Declarations PRIOR to ALL moves. Hauling permits are not valid during adverse weather conditions such as snow and ice storms or ANY time a Snow Emergency Declaration has been issued in a Maryland jurisdiction you may be routed through. Maryland Snow Emergency status reports and Emergency Truck Parking locations can be found on the Commercial Vehicle Operations page under Hauling Permits at www.roads.maryland.gov/cvo

8/24/2016Colgate Creek Bridge Restriction
NOTICE - Broening Hwy at the Colgate Creek Bridge in Baltimore City, near the Port of Baltimore, has been restricted to 80,000 pounds gross vehicle weight.  Permit load vehicles, including blanket and containerized cargo permit holders, should alter their routing to comply with this restriction.  Questions may be referred to the Baltimore City Department of Transportation, Bridge Engineering Section at 410-396-6935.

9/12/2016I-695 @ MD 702 UPDATE
“UPDATE / Outer Loop I-695 @ MD 702 – Permit loads up to 150K gross weight, 12 feet wide, 90 feet long and 14 feet 6 inches high may now travel through the construction area. Wide loads traveling at night between the hours of 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. must confirm travel through this area 24 hours in advance by contacting the Project Engineer - Brent Robinson 443-683-3121.”

7/5/2016Routine Loads- Expansion of Eligibility
July 5, 2016 - Maryland State Highway Administration, in cooperation with the City of Baltimore and Maryland Transportation Authority, is pleased to announce a statewide expansion of eligibility for the hours of operation now allowing loads up to and including 150k , 12’ Wide, 90’Long, and 14’6” High to move Monday 12:01 am thru Saturday at 12:00pm  providing continuity with our Maryland One auto issue thresholds.  This modification will become effective immediately.  Please check our restrictions listing for roadways that are not eligible for the expanded weight or size.
