1/13/2016Presidential Inauguration Notice
UPDATED NOTICE: The Presidential Inauguration will occur on Friday, January 20th. There are no specific hauling permit restrictions being imposed at this time. However, traffic in the Washington DC region may be heavier than usual and it is recommended that the area be avoided if possible on Thursday 1/19/17 and Friday 1/20/17.

12/20/2016Containerized Cargo Permits – Compliance
Containerized Cargo Permits – Compliance: Permits for containerized cargo going to or coming from the Port of Baltimore are provided free of charge by the Maryland State Highway Administration. It is important to remember that they are subject to the same sanctions as any other hauling permit for non-compliance with the terms and conditions of use. Suspension of a hauling permit can range from up to 30 days for two violations in a 6 month period to 120 days for more than 3 violations in a 12 month period. Containers are also subject to mandatory off-loading should a weight violation void their permit. For more information or to discuss a problem shipper please contact our office at 410-582-5734.
