9/7/2012SHA Advises Motorists of Overnight Ramp Work along I-795 Beginning Friday, September 7
SHA is temporarily narrowing or closing interchange ramps on I-795 (Northwest Expressway) between Owings Mills Boulevard and I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) at night beginning Friday, September 7. 
 
The temporary overnight traffic pattern changes will alllow contract crews to safely repair and/or mill concrete pavement on interchange ramps this weekend and early next week.  
 
All dates/times are weather permitting:
 
8 p.m. Friday, September 7 - 6 p.m. Saturday, September 8:
SHA will close the left lane of the two-lane ramp from I-695 South (Outer Loop) to I-795 North.
 
8 p.m. Friday, September 7 until 6 p.m. Saturday, September 8:
SHA will close the right lane of the two-lane ramp from I-695 North (Inner Loop) to I-795 North.
 
10 p.m. Friday, September 7 until 6 p.m. Saturday, September 8: SHA will close the right lane of I-795 North on the approach to the ramp to Owings Mills Blvd., then shift traffic over to a left lane closure on the ramp from I-795 North to Owings Mills Blvd. 
Please look ahead for traffic pattern shifts and a short traffic diversion using Mill Run Circle (Owings Mills Town Center ring road).  
 
11 p.m. Monday, September 10 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, September 11: SHA will close the ramp from I-795 North to the Owings Mills Town Center. 
Detour: Owings Mills Blvd. North to MD 140 South (Reisterstown Road) to Painters Mill Road to Red Run Boulevard back to Owings Mills Town Center.

 
11 p.m. Tuesday, September 11 until 5 a.m. Wednesday, September 12: SHA will close the ramp from I-795 North to the Owings Mills Town Center. 
Detour: Owings Mills Blvd. North to MD 140 South (Reisterstown Road) to Painters Mill Road to Red Run Boulevard back to Owings Mills Town Center.
 
The ramp repair work is part of SHA’s ongoing $3.8 million project to repair concrete pavement along I-795 between I-695 and the CSX overpass in Owings Mills.  The project, which also includes guardrail replacement, drainage improvements and pavement repairs, began spring 2012 and will be complete fall 2013, weather permitting.
