In response to FHWA’s Work Zone Safety and Mobility Rule (23 CFR Subpart J) and Temporary Traffic Control Devices Rule (23 CFR Subpart K), MDOT SHA has implemented several policy and guidance documents to provide information and guidance on requirements for personnel involved in the planning, designing, supervising, implementation, inspection, maintenance and review of transportation management plans for work zone traffic control:
