Virtual Public Meeting on March 15

(March 1, 2023) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will host a virtual public meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, to share information and answer project-related questions about the planned safety and intersection improvement project along MD 202 (Landover Road) in the Cheverly area of Prince George’s County. The project is proposing improvements to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety and reduce crashes along one-third of a mile (1850 linear feet) of MD 202 from MD 450 (Annapolis Road) to 57th Avenue.

The project area encompasses intersections along MD 202 including Randolph Street, Quincy Street, 55th Avenue, 56th Avenue, 57th Avenue, 56th Place and MD 202B. The design phase is expected to be completed this fall.
