Anne Arundel County

• West Nursery Road Bridges over MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) – Paving operations on both bridges – Beginning Friday, January 11 at 10 p.m.  Bridges will re-open no later than 10 p.m. Saturday, January 12.  Note:  Lanes may open sooner as paving progresses.

Baltimore County

 

I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) Ride Quality Repairs Sunday night, January 13 into Monday morning

 

The State Highway Administration (SHA) will be out Sunday night, January 13 on I-695 between MD 45 (York Road) and MD 146 (Dulaney Valley Road) to mill out bumps (improve ride quality) on the two left lanes of the inner loop and the outer loop.

 

Work will start on the inner loop first with a single left lane closure at 9 p.m. and a double left lane closure at 10 p.m.. 

Upon completing the inner loop lanes (if time permits), crews  will move over to the outer loop (lane closures would be after midnight on outer loop) and all open by 5 a.m. Monday morning, January 14.

 

• MD 139 (Charles Street) Bridge over I-695 – Routine bridge inspection. Single lane closures on the inner loop I-695 on Sunday, January 13 from 5 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Frederick County

• Westbound I-70 Bridge over Harmony Road and Little Catoctin Creek – Routine bridge inspection- single right lane closure on westbound I-70 from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 12.

Prince George’s

• Cherry Hill Road Bridge over I-95 - Routine bridge inspection -- Alternating double left and right lane closures on northbound I-95 from 5 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, January 12.

 

•Southbound I-95 between MD 198 (Sandy Spring Road) and MD 200 (Intercounty Connector). Interchange construction (structural steel installation for new bridge).  Bridge construction. Tuesday, January 15 at 7 p.m. to Wednesday, January 16 at 5 a.m. Single lane closure at 7 p.m. Two lanes at 11 p.m. Three lanes at midnight. One or two total stoppages of up to 30 minutes between midnight and 4 a.m. Ramps from MD 198 to I-95 may close during temporary stoppages.

Queen Anne’s County

• Westbound US 50 over US 301 – Bridge rehabilitation project-left lane closed on westbound US 50.  Traffic shift to recently completed new section coming up in approximately one week.
