(April 26, 2013) -- Tonight, Friday April 26 at 7 p.m., the State Highway Administration (SHA) will resurface a section of MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) from the ramps to the Capital Beltway (I-495) to Manor Road in Bethesda.

The far right lane on southbound MD 185 will close at 7 p.m., then the far right lane on northbound MD 185 at 8 p.m.  SHA will close a second lane on southbound MD 185 at 10 p.m. and then a second lane on northbound MD 185 at 11 p.m.

Weather permitting; all lanes will be open to traffic by 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 27. The work is part of the Bethesda Base Realignment and Closure and Closure (BRAC) intersection improvement project.  SHA thanks motorists for their patience and appreciates their cooperation during construction.
