(July 11, 2013) – Bucher John Road will be closed at the railroad crossing near Union Bridge in Carroll County beginning Wednesday, July 17, while Maryland Midland Railway replaces the railroad crossing surface and installs new crossing signals.  Weather permitting, the road will reopen  the afternoon of Monday, July 22.

During the closure, work crews will detour traffic through Union Bridge using Main Street (MD 75), Union Bridge Road and Main Road. Maryland Midland Railway and the Maryland State Highway Administration thank motorists for their patience and cooperation.
