(July 29, 2013) – The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is entering its final phase of slope repair along the US 50 Bypass in Salisbury from US 13 to Northwood Drive.  The restoration work along the bypass is expected to be complete before the end of August, weather permitting.

Motorists should expect possible delays this week on the ramp from Northwood Drive to the westbound lanes of the bypass. The lane width on the ramp will be reduced and vehicles will be required to travel at a reduced speed.  The temporary restriction begins Monday, July 29, and will continue daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday, August 2.

Anyone with questions about traffic operations on US 50 or other State numbered routes in Wicomico County may contact SHA’s District 1 Office at 410-677-4000 or toll-free at 800-825-4742.
