(October 31, 2013) - The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will be replacing a drainage inlet gate on the MD 90 (Ocean City Expressway) Bridge. The work will be performed on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7.

 

To safely perform the necessary repair, SHA will close westbound MD 90 between MD 528 (Coastal Highway) and St. Martin Neck Road. Motorists leaving Ocean City should use US 50 (Ocean Gateway) to MD 589 (Racetrack Road).

 

Eastbound MD 90 (inbound toward Ocean City) will NOT be affected. Crews will work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

 

The single lane closure is necessary for SHA to repair drainage inlets on MD 90. Portable Variable Message Signs are posted on Coastal Highway alerting motorists to the temporary westbound lane closure on MD 90.​
