• South Centre Street and Centre Street ramp to westbound I-68 (National Freeway) in Cumberland - Bridge cleaning and painting - South Centre Street (including access to ramp to WB I-68) will be temporarily closed at the I-68 overpass between Queen City Drive and W. Harrison Street Friday, July 25 through Monday, July 28. Follow detour.

• Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to northbound MD 170 (Camp Meade Road) – Concrete patching – Temporary ramp closure and detour from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

• MD 175 (Annapolis Road) between MD 713 (Ridge Road) and Disney Road – Paving/resurfacing – Single and double lane closures on MD 175 beginning Sunday at 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. Monday.

• Eastbound and westbound MD 140 (Baltimore Boulevard) at Sandymount Road – Utility work (Verizon) – Intermittent total closures Sunday from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m.

 

• Westbound MD 140 between MD 91 (Gamber Road) Glen Falls Road – Bridge rehabilitation – The right lane will be blocked on Saturday from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.

 

• Northbound I-95 between the Prince George’s County line to MD 216 (Scaggsville Road) – Paving/resurfacing – Single lane closures from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

 

• MD 32 between Day Road and West Friendship Road – Paving/temporary pavement marking installation - Single lane closure beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

• MD 191 (Bradley Boulevard) at Strathmore Street – Paving/resurfacing – Single lane closures on MD 191 beginning tonight at 9 p.m. through Sunday at 12 noon. Click here for more information.

• Inner loop and outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) and US 29 (Colesville Road) – Bridge Replacement/demolition phase - Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• MD 355 (Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue) from MD 191 (Bradley Lane/Bradley Boulevard) to MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) - Paving/resurfacing – Single and double lane closures from 10 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

• MD 500 (Queens Chapel Road) from the D.C. line to MD 501 (Chillum Road) - Paving/resurfacing - Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

 

 

While SHA and its partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify their driving style to help prevent crashes.
