Thanksgiving lane closure restrictions will be in effect beginning at 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 22 until 9 p.m. Monday, November 28.  SHA will suspend all non-emergency lane closures to help keep traffic moving on what could be an extremely travel week. 

• MD 175 (Annapolis Road) Bridge over CSX Transportation (near Dorsey Run Road) – Bridge work – Total closure with detour beginning at 9 p.m. Friday (tonight) and all open by 5 a.m. Monday.  Click here for more information. 

• Inner loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to MD 648 (Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard) – Concrete patching – Total ramp closure and detour beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.

• Inner loop of I-695 at MD 170 (Camp Meade Road) – Bridge joint installation – Double lane closures on both loops of the Beltway from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.  

• Inner loop of I-695 ramp to eastbound MD 43 (Whitemarsh Boulevard) – Litter removal and grass trimming – Left lane closure Saturday between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.

• I-495 (Capital Beltway) Bridge over Stoneybrook Road/Jones Bridge Road (between MD 185 and Seminary Road) – Bridge joint repairs – Double lane closures Sundays through Thursday from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. through November 20.

• Northbound and southbound MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue) between MD 410 (East-West Boulevard) and MD 191 (Bradley Boulevard) – Contractor utility relocation work – Double lane closures on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

 

• MD 124 (Quince Orchard Road) between Orchard Ridge Road and MD 355 (Frederick Road) – Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. (is permitted to go later- 8 a.m., traffic permitting)

•    MD 27 (Ridge Road) between Sunset Drive and MD 80 (Kemptown Road) – Patching - Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• MD 117 (Clopper Road) from Longdraft Street to I-270 - Resurfacing - Double lane closures Sundays through Fridays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and single lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

 

• Westbound US 50 (John Hanson Highway) between the Anne Arundel County line and Lottsford Vista Road (Cancelled) – Pavement patching – Double lane closures between 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday. 

 

• MD 193 (University Boulevard) between US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) and Campus Way – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. and week days between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

 

• MD 198 (Sandy Spring Road) between Riding Stable Road and I-95 – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

 

 

 

• MD 147 (Harford Road) at Glen Arm Road/Mt. Vista Road – Roundabout construction – Mt. Vista Road leg of intersection is closed and detoured.  The detour is Sunshine Avenue to US 1 (Belair Road.) 

 

 

• MD 222 Bridge over Rock Run – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour for ten weeks.  Project will be completed early November.  Road to reopen by end of-December.

 

 

• MD 195 (Carroll Avenue) between Jefferson Avenue and Flower Avenue (MD 195 Bridge over Sligo Creek and Parkway) - Bridge rehabilitation – Bridge to closed and traffic detoured for one year. 

 

 

• MD 54 (Delmar Road) Bridge over Mockingbird Creek - Bridge replacement – Bridge closed and traffic detoured for ten weeks.  Bridge should reopen mid-December.

 

• MD 349 (Nanticoke Road) Bridge over Windsor Creek - Bridge replacement – Bridge to close and traffic to be detoured for ten weeks.  Bridge should reopen early-December.
