• US 50 on the Severn River Bridge – Lane widening project – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursday between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• I-95 between US 1 and the Baltimore City/County line – Resurfacing/pavement patching/milling – Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• Southbound I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway) at MD 137 (Mt. Carmel Road) – Demolition work as part of bridge replacement project – Northbound I-83 to be detoured using the ramp to MD 137 and re-joining the on-ramp on the other side of I-83. The closure and detour will take place Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• Northbound I-95 between US 1 and the Baltimore City/County line – Bridge deck improvements – Double lane closures Sundays through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• MD 30 Business (Main Street) between North Woods Trail and the CSX Railroad tracks – Urban reconstruction project – Single lane closures with a flagging operation Mondays through Saturdays between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

 

• MD 108 at Centre Park Drive/Phelps Luck Road – Utility performing pipeline work – road to be closed and detoured beginning 9 p.m. Friday, October 6 until 5 a.m. Monday, October 9. new

 

Montgomery County
 

•  Southbound I-270 spur at the outer loop of I-495 – Resurfacing/pavement marking work - Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Outer loop of I-495 between Seminary Road and the I-270 spur – Resurfacing - Single and double lane closures between 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

 

• Southbound I-270 between MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) and the Frederick County line – Resurfacing - single and double lane closures Sunday nights until Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (northbound I-270 will be completed next spring)

 

• MD 193 (University Boulevard) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 320 (Piney Branch Road) – Resurfacing - Single and double lane closures Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., as well as Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. new

 

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at MD 28 (Norbeck Road) – Intersection improvement project/utility relocation - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• MD 355 between Watkins Mill Road and Montgomery Village Avenue - Private/commercial resurfacing - Double lane closures, Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through mid-October. new

 

• MD 355 (Rockville Pike) between Wilson Drive and Woodmont Avenue - Montgomery County Crossing Project clearing and curb work - Single and double lane closures in each direction beginning Friday at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

 

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) -  WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Weekend lane closures are possible between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

 

 

• US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) between Hollywood Road and Lackawanna Street - Private/commercial water utility work - Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late-fall.

 

• MD 500 (Queens Chapel Road) between MD 208 (Hamilton Street) and MD 410 (East West Highway) - Paving operations - Single lane closures Saturday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. new

 

• MD 5 (Branch Avenue) between Moores Road and MD 381 (Brandywine Road) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Saturday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• Westbound US 50 (John Hanson Highway) between the Anne Arundel County Line and Lottsford Vista Road - Resurfacing – Single, double and triple lane closures Fridays through Mondays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

 

 

• MD 147 (Harford Road) at Glen Arm Road/Mt. Vista Road – Roundabout construction –Glen Arm Road is closed and detoured. Paving operations to begin October 6. new Traffic switch coming October 20.

 

 
• MD 281 (Red Hill Road) at Muddy Lane – Roundabout construction –MD 281 and Muddy Lane are closed and detoured. new Closure and detour until end of October.

 

 

• MD 234 (Budds Creek Road) Bridge over Gilbert Swamp Run – Bridge replacement – Single lane closure guided by a temporary traffic signal until spring 2018.  

 

 

• Southbound US 13 ramp/bridge to the eastbound/southbound Salisbury Bypass – Bridge/ramp rehabilitation – Total closure and detour until late-September to expedite the work. New Ramp scheduled to open next week.

 

 

• Southbound MD 3 (Crain Highway) (Median) between Waugh Chapel Road and MD 175 (Millersville Road) (BGE project) – BGE electric transmission line project – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

 

• US 50 between the Severn River Bridge and Oceanic Avenue – Guardrail installation – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. new

 

• Southbound MD 129 (Park Heights Avenue) between MD 133 (Old Court Road) and Baltimore City line (BGE project) – BGE Gas line replacement project – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

 

 

• MD 404 (Queen Anne Highway/Shore Highway) between US 50 (Ocean Gateway) and MD 309 (Starr Road) and MD 480 (Ridgely Road) and the Denton Bypass – Highway widening – Single lane closures with flagging operations possible in each direction of MD 404 12 noon Mondays until 12 noon Fridays. • MD 267 (Bladen Street) near Louisa Lane – Sidewalk installation – Total closures and detours Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. new

 

 

• Mega-Move (BGE transformer) – Mega transport – Convoy to start at 10 p.m. Monday and arrive at destination in Fallston by 5 a.m. Tuesday. • Northbound I-95 ramp to northbound I-895 – Sound wall construction – Ramp to be closed and detoured Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. until early November.

 

 

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at Randolph Road - Interchange construction - Single lane closures in both directions of both roads, Mondays through Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

 

• Westbound I-70 Acceleration and deceleration lane Bridge over I-81 – Concrete bridge deck pour – Bridge closed and detoured on October 11 beginning 8 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., October 12.

 

• I-81 between MD 63/MD 68 and the bridge over the Potomac River – Highway and bridge widening – Occasional left lane closures Sunday nights until Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• Westbound I-70 between MD 615 and the Tonoloway Creek Bridge – Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
