Major Delays Expected on Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore Beltway and I-795

(May 11, 2018) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is alerting motorists to expect major delays for the afternoon rush hour in the Pikesville and Owings Mills area. The funeral and procession for Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will depart the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, which is in the 7400 block of Park Heights Avenue, at 4:30 p.m.

The procession will travel on northbound MD 129 (Park Heights Avenue) to the outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway). The procession will continue to northbound I-795 to Franklin Boulevard to Nicodemus Road and then Berrymans Lane.

MDOT SHA’S Office of CHART will assist in traffic operations, along with the Baltimore County Police Department and Maryland State Police. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect major delays. For real time traffic information, please visit www.md511.org.
