MDOT SHA is advising motorists of potential delays associated with the Redskins/Packers game at 1:00 p.m. at Fed Ex Field in Landover on Sunday. MDOT SHA will deploy additional patrols in the area to assist local police with traffic operations and be able to deploy a rapid response to help clear any disabled vehicles or crashes.

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until summer 2019.

• Inner loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge – Drawbridge repair – (MDTA project) - Inner loop I-695 closed and traffic in two-way operation using the outer loop of I-695 until November 2018.

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

• HIGH-IMPACT - Southbound I-95 (inner loop I-495) at bridge over MD 450 (Annapolis Road) – Bridge joint and concrete work – Double lane closures beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. This will continue Sunday nights through Friday mornings until early-October.

•  Westbound US 50 Bridge over Columbia Park Road – Bridge joint repairs – Single lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings until October.

• MD 214 (Central Avenue) between US 301 (Crain Highway) and the Anne Arundel County line – Resurfacing project – Friday night ramp closures and detours: ramp from NB US 301 to WB MD 214 and MD 214 ramp to SB US 301 – closure/detour beginning at 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday. Ramp from SB US 301 to EB MD 214 and EB MD 214 ramp to NB US 301 – Closure/detour beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. new

• Eastbound Padonia Road ramp to northbound I-83 – Ramp closure for bridge replacement project – Motorists will be guided to Deerco Road to the I-83/Timonium Road interchange. new

• Eastbound US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) between Fern Lane and Ridge Road – Roadside slope repair – Right truck “climbing” lane and shoulder closed until early-fall.

• MD 32 between Linden Church Road and Broadwater Lane – Traffic switch for highway widening project – Southbound MD 32 ramp onto Linden Church Road exit ramp is closed and detoured until November.

 

• MD 381 (Brandywine Road) Bridge over Timothy Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour until fall.

• US 13 (Ocean Highway) northbound over Pocomoke River at the Worcester/Somerset county line – Bridge work – Northbound US 13 bridge over Pocomoke River has been reduced to one 12-foot lane for bridge work through the early-fall.  new

 

 

• MD 346 (Old Ocean City Road) at MD 90 (Ocean City Expressway) – Slope erosion repair – MD 346 to be closed for approximately three weeks starting Monday, September 24. Local detours to be in effect. new

 

• HIGH-IMPACT - Outer loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) and Edmonson Avenue – Steel beam placement on Ingleside Avenue Bridge for Beltway widening project – Double lane closures on Friday, September 28 between 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Saturday, September 29. Ingleside Avenue will be closed and detoured between 9 p.m. Friday until 4 p.m. Saturday. new date-material delay due to Hurricane Florence.

 

• MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) between Sudbrook Lane and Waldron Avenue – BGE electrical work – Lane reductions and on-street parking restrictions until the end of October.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between White Oak Drive and MD 193 (University Boulevard) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• HIGH-IMPACT - I-95 at the Woodrow Wilson Bridge – Drawbridge opening – Brief total interstate closures on September 26 between 11:30 p.m. and 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. new

• I-81 between the Potomac River Bridge (West Virginia line) and MD 68/MD 63 (Lappans Road) – Highway widening project – Left lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. There may be occasional, brief total closures to move equipment and material into place between 2 midnight and 4 a.m.
