Fleet Week in Baltimore City – Expect delays on I-95 and I-83 Saturday and Sunday.

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until summer 2019.

• Inner loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge – Drawbridge repair – (MDTA project) Inner loop I-695 closed and traffic in two-way operation using the outer loop of I-695 until November 2018.

 

• Northbound US 15 (Catoctin Mountain Highway) at Hayward Road – Pipe crossing associated with interchange project – Alternating single lane closures beginning at 8 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Sunday, October 7. new

 

• Southbound US 29 (Columbia Pike) ramp to eastbound MD 175 and the eastbound MD 175 ramp to northbound MD 175 – High-friction surface application – Ramp closures and detours beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday and Monday night into Tuesday morning. new

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

• HIGH-IMPACT - Northbound I-95 (outer loop I-495) Bridge over MD 450 (Annapolis Road) – Bridge deck resurfacing – Double lane closures beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. This will continue Sunday nights through Friday mornings until mid-October. new direction

 

• I-95 one-mile south of MD 212 (Powder Mill Road) – Traffic counter deployment – Brief total stoppages between 11 p.m. Sunday until 3 p.m. Monday. new

• I-95 south of US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) – Traffic counter deployment – Brief total stoppages between 11 p.m. Sunday until 3 p.m. Monday. new

• Eastbound Padonia Road ramp to northbound I-83 – Ramp closure for bridge replacement project – Motorists will be guided to Deerco Road to the I-83/Timonium Road interchange.

• Eastbound US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) between Fern Lane and Ridge Road – Roadside slope repair – Right truck “climbing” lane and shoulder closed until early-fall.

• MD 32 between Linden Church Road and Broadwater Lane – Traffic switch for highway widening project – Southbound MD 32 ramp onto Linden Church Road exit ramp is closed and detoured until November.

• MD 381 (Brandywine Road) Bridge over Timothy Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour until last week of October.

• US 13 (Ocean Highway) northbound over Pocomoke River at the Worcester/Somerset county line – Bridge work – Northbound US 13 bridge over Pocomoke River has been reduced to one 12-foot lane for bridge work through the early-fall. 

 

 

• HIGH-IMPACT - MD 589 (Racetrack Road) near Gum Point Road (north of Ocean Downs Casino) – Slope repair - Road to be closed and detoured beginning October 8 and continuing up to eight weeks. Detour routes uses US 50, US 113 and MD 90. new

• MD 346 (Old Ocean City Road) at MD 90 (Ocean City Expressway) – Slope erosion repair – MD 346 to be closed for approximately three weeks starting Monday, September 24. Local detours to be in effect.

 

• SB I-83 ramp to Padonia Road – Bridge replacement project – Ramp to be closed and detoured beginning at 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Monday. This will occur each night through 5 a.m. Thursday. Motorists will be guided to the I-83/Timonium Road interchange to northbound I-83 to re-access Padonia Road. new

• MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) between Sudbrook Lane and Waldron Avenue – BGE electrical work – Lane reductions and on-street parking restrictions until the end of October.

 

• MD 28 (Dickerson Road) Bridge over the Monocacy River – Bridge rehabilitation project – Beginning Saturday, October 13 and continuing until 5:00 AM on Monday, October 15, MDOT SHA will close and detour MD 28. The closure and detour will take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. This will continue nightly until October 19. new

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between White Oak Drive and MD 193 (University Boulevard) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• I-81 between the Potomac River Bridge (West Virginia line) and MD 68/MD 63 (Lappans Road) – Highway widening project – Left lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. There may be occasional, brief total closures to move equipment and material into place between 2 midnight and 4 a.m.

• MD 90 (Ocean City Expressway) between Ocean Parkway and MD 528 (Coastal Highway) –Routine bridge inspection of St. Martin River and Assawoman Bay bridges – Single lane closures Tuesdays through Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. until the end of October. new
