Reminder – Speed limit reduction on MD 191 (Bradley Boulevard) between MD 614 (Goldsboro Road) and MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue). The 25-mph speed limit goes into to effect August 2.

• HIGH-IMPACT - Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to MD 144 (Frederick Road) – Ramp reconstruction/storm drain and electrical work for highway widening project – Ramp to close at 9 p.m. on August 5 for approximately eight months. Motorists will be guided to the I-695/MD 372 (Wilkens Avenue) interchange and motorists will use the ramps to access the inner loop of I-695 back to MD 144. new

• Cromwell Bridge Road/MD 542 (Loch Raven Boulevard) ramp to the outer loop I-695 – Highway slope and drainage project – The ramp will be closed and beginning at 10 p.m. tonight (Friday) traffic will be detoured until 10 p.m. Sunday, August 4.

• Southbound US 1 (Belair Road) Bridge over Big Gunpowder Falls (between Mt. Vista Road and Miller Road) – Bridge rehabilitation project – On Saturday, August 3, Single lane closure between 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Westbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway) on the Bridge over the Little Gunpowder Falls – Bridge rehabilitation project – Single lane closure Saturday and Sunday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. new hours

• MD 36 (Mt. Savage Road) Bridge over Jennings Run –Bridge Replacement – MD 36 is closed and detoured until late-August.

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until Late-August.

• I-895 (Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Throughway) between the tunnels and Boston Street/O’Donnell Street (exit 11) and the Holabird Avenue exit (MDTA Project) – Bridge rehabilitation project – Northbound I-895 closed and two-way traffic using southbound I-895. Use I-95 (Fort McHenry Tunnel) or I-695 (Francis Scott Key Bridge) as alternate routes. Project to last until 2021.

• Eastbound Padonia Road ramp to northbound I-83 – Ramp closure for bridge replacement project – Motorists will be guided to Deerco Road to the I-83/Timonium Road interchange.

 

• Bradshaw Road Bridge over I-95 (MDTA Project) – Bridge rehabilitation project – Bridge to close and traffic detoured until spring 2020.

 

• Northbound MD 32 (Sykesville Road) between Main Street and Macbeth Way – Road Widening Project –Traffic shifted until summer 2020.

• MD 273 (Telegraph Road) Bridge over Big Elk Creek – Bridge replacement project – Temporary traffic signal to alternate traffic in single lane until spring 2020.

• MD 28 (Dickerson Road) Bridge over the Monocacy River – Bridge rehabilitation– Single lane closure (24/7) guided by temporary traffic signal until spring 2020.

• MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) at Mt. Zion Road – Roundabout construction – On June 20, the MD 180/Mt. Zion Road intersection will be closed. MD 180 will be detoured to US 340 (runs parallel). Mt. Zion Road will be detoured using Stone Road to Teen Barnes Road to MD 180 and back to Mt. Zion Road.

• MD 464 (Point of Rocks Road) Bridge over Little Catoctin Creek – Bridge replacement project – Total closure and local detour on July 22 until early 2020. Motorists will be guided around the bridge project using Olive School Road to MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) to MD 17 (Petersville Road). A temporary traffic signal will be installed at MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) and Olive School Road prior to the closure.

• MD 478 (Knoxville Road) Bridge over Branch of the Potomac River – Bridge replacement project –MD 478 is closed through fall. Local traffic will have access up to the point of the bridge closure. Through motorists will be detoured to MD 17 (Petersville Road/Burkittsville Road) to MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) and back to MD 478. Motorists may also choose US 340 as an alternate route.

 

• Eastbound US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) between Fern Lane and Ridge Road – Roadside slope repair – Right truck “climbing” lane and shoulder closed until August.

• Southbound US 1 (Washington Boulevard) between Brumbaugh Street and Bonnie View Lane – BGE utility relocation – Right lane closed until early-November.

• Triadelphia Road Bridge over MD 32 – Highway widening project – Eastbound Triadelphia Road will be closed and detoured until summer 2020. Westbound Triadelphia Road will be able to use existing bridge.

• Eastbound MD 410 (Veterans Parkway) between Pennsy Drive and US 50 (John Hanson Highway) – Slope repair – Single lane closure until late-August. new

 

• Southbound I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) ramp to eastbound MD 214 (Central Avenue) – Bridge replacement project – Total ramp closure with traffic using the Capital Beltway/MD 202 (Largo Road) interchange and then to MD 214 via MD 202.

 

• MD 364 (Dividing Creek Road) Bridge over Dividing Creek – Bridge replacement project – Total road closure and detour until late-August.

 

• MD 68 (Lappans Road) Bridge over Winchester/Western Railroad – Bridge rehabilitation – Westbound MD 68 will be closed and detoured during phase one of construction. Beginning Monday, July 29, Motorists travelling on westbound Lappans Road will be guided to MD 632 (Downsville Pike) to westbound I-70 to southbound I-81 and back to westbound Lappans Road. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra commuting time during this closure, which will be in effect until fall.

 

 

• US 50 (Ocean Gateway) Bridge over Sinepuxent Bay (Harry Kelley Memorial Bridge) – Routine Bridge maintenance – Test openings on Wednesday, August 7 and August 21 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. new

 

 

 

• Southbound MD 178 (Generals Highway) between Bestgate Road and MD 450 (Defense Highway) – Sidewalk retrofit – single lane closure between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. new

 

• I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) near MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) – Traffic Volume Counter deployment – Brief total closure window between 11 p.m. Sunday until 1 a.m. Monday. Crews will recover the equipment Wednesday night between 11 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. new

• MD 45 (York Road) between north of Padonia Road and Wight Avenue – Resurfacing/Water main replacement – Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• MD 4 (Patuxent Beach Road) Bridge over the Patuxent River (Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge) – Routine bridge inspections – Single lane closures guided by a flagging operation. Work will take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday. new

• Eastbound I-70 Bridge over US 40 (National Pike) – Bridge deck patching and repair – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• St. Anthony Road at southbound US 15 – Acceleration Lane Construction – Entrance to St. Anthony from southbound US 15 closed until the fall.

• MD 77 (Rocky Ridge Road) between MD 550 (East Main Street) and Hunting Creek (near Tippin Drive) – Resurfacing – Single lane closure in both directions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday until September.

• MD 77 (Foxville Road) between Pryor Road and Stottlemyer Road – Major culvert replacement project – Total closures and detours overnights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. until mid-September.

• Westbound I-70 between the Baltimore/Howard County line to just west of Marriottsville Road– Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Currently, crews are paving and line striping. Project expected to be complete by mid-August.

• HIGH-IMPACT – I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) – Structural steel installation for bridge replacement project – Single lane closures 9 p.m. double lanes at 10 p.m., triple lanes at 11 p.m. and brief total closures from 12 midnight until 4 a.m. through mid-August.

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and St. Andrews Way (near Sligo Creek Parkway) - Resurfacing – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between north of Goldmine Road and south of Holiday Drive - Bypass construction – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
