MD 355 signClosure May Last Several Days; Highway Users Should Seek Alternate Routes During the Repair (August 5, 2025) – A watermain break has closed southbound MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue) at MD 410 (East West Highway) in Bethesda, Montgomery County. There are also two westbound turn lanes closed on MD 410. According to the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, the closure may be in effect for an extended period of time.The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is advising highway users to seek alternate routes and allow extra commuting time.
