Expect Overnight Lane Closures Sunday – Thursday Through Mid-Summer
(April 29, 2026) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will begin improving safety and ride quality on segments of MD 25 (Falls Road) between the Baltimore City/County line and I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) in Baltimore County next week. The project will be complete mid-summer, weather permitting.
Beginning as soon as Sunday, May 3, crews will patch segments of asphalt pavement where needed. Crews will work weeknights, 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. Sunday – Thursday with single-lane closures and flagging operations in effect.
The State Highway Administrator’s contractor is for the $586,000 maintenance project is Allan Myers – MD, Inc. of Fallston. Contractor crews and flaggers will use temporary traffic signs and cones to control two-way traffic through the work zone.
The State Highway Administration is Serious About Safety. Motorists are urged to remain alert and avoid distractions when traveling through the work zone. Motorists should obey all posted speed limits. Motorists can dial #77 on their mobile devices for roadside assistance.
