Major Weekend Lane Closures

In an effort to provide as much lane capacity as possible during the Memorial Day holiday, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is:

• Suspending non-emergency construction-related lane closures beginning at 12 noon Thursday, May 26 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 30; and

• Providing extra highway response technicians to assist with disabled motorists, crash clean up and road debris removal.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and “Leave Early and Stay Late.”  MDOT SHA has a variety of electronic and interactive tools to help ensure as smooth a trip as possible.  We invite you and your audience to click on the links below to help get you to where you have to go.
