What:
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will host an informational meeting about planned improvements to the I-70 at MD 65 Interchange. The purpose of the project is to address structural and safety concerns, and to increase capacity at the I-70/MD 65 interchange in anticipation of increased traffic from planned development.
SHA team members will present maps and other exhibits of the alternatives under consideration, traffic data, and potential environmental impacts. The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the study before a Preferred Alternative is selected. Maps of information collected during the study and other displays will be available for review. MDOT SHA representatives will be available to answer project-related questions and receive public comments.
