Baltimore County

• Inner loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between MD 144 (Frederick Road) and US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) – Large crane move for widening project – On Monday, Sept. 9, One left lane will be closed beginning at 7 p.m. until 12 midnight and another left lane beginning at 10 p.m. until 12 midnight. new

Carroll County

• MD 140 (Baltimore Boulevard) between Sandymount Road and Bethel Road – Pavement repair/concrete patching – One lane in each direction will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Monday, September 9. The same closures and times will occur the weekend of September 13. new

Talbot County

• US 50 (Ocean Gateway) and MD 322 (Easton Bypass) – Large transport move (house) – Total stoppages on westbound US 50 on Monday, September 9 beginning 8 p.m. westbound US 50 will be closed at Chapel Road and eastbound US 50 will be closed at MD 322. Both directions of US 50 will reopen as soon as the transport clears the roadway and the local utilities are restored. On Tuesday, September 10, MD 322 may be closed in sections across several nights depending on transport progress. Overhead utilities and traffic signals will need to be removed and reinstalled as the transport moves down MD 322. Prince George’s County

• I-495/I-95 (Capital Beltway) at the Woodrow Wilson Bridge – Routine drawbridge maintenance – Test openings to occur in each direction and will intermittently close I-95 on September 8 and 9 between 12:30 p.m. and 3 a.m. new

• Southbound I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) ramp to eastbound MD 414 (St. Barnabas Road), Westbound MD 414 ramp to southbound I-95/I-495 and northbound I-95 (outer loop I-495) ramp to MD 414 – Ramp closure for paving – Crews will begin at 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 and work each night until 9/13. All lanes will open by 5 a.m. each morning. The sequence above is the order the ramps will be paved. new
 
Carroll County

Allegany County

• MD 36 (Mt. Savage Road) Bridge over Jennings Run –Bridge Replacement – MD 36 is closed and detoured until September.

Baltimore City

• I-895 (Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Throughway) between the tunnels and Boston Street/O’Donnell Street (exit 11) and the Holabird Avenue exit (MDTA Project) – Bridge rehabilitation project – Northbound I-895 closed and two-way traffic using southbound I-895. Use I-95 (Fort McHenry Tunnel) or I-695 (Francis Scott Key Bridge) as alternate routes. Project to last until 2021.

Baltimore County

• MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) north of the McDonogh Road/Cradock Lane – BGE utility work – Lane shift to occur on September 3 for 60 days, as well as left turn lane from southbound MD 140 to Cradock Lane. Posted local detour in effect for turn lane closure. new

HIGH-IMPACT - Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to MD 144 (Frederick Road) – Ramp reconstruction/storm drain and electrical work for highway widening project – Ramp to close at 9 p.m. on August 5 for approximately eight months. Motorists will be guided to the I-695/MD 372 (Wilkens Avenue) interchange and motorists will use the ramps to access the inner loop of I-695 back to MD 144.

• Eastbound Padonia Road ramp to northbound I-83 – Ramp closure for bridge replacement project – Motorists will be guided to Deerco Road to the I-83/Timonium Road interchange.

• Bradshaw Road Bridge over I-95 (MDTA Project) – Bridge rehabilitation project – Bridge to close and traffic detoured until spring 2020.

Cecil County

• MD 273 (Telegraph Road) Bridge over Big Elk Creek – Bridge replacement project – Temporary traffic signal to alternate traffic in single lane until spring 2020.

Frederick County

• MD 28 (Dickerson Road) Bridge over the Monocacy River – Bridge rehabilitation– Single lane closure (24/7) guided by temporary traffic signal until spring 2020.

• MD 464 (Point of Rocks Road) Bridge over Little Catoctin Creek – Bridge replacement project – Total closure until early 2020. Motorists will be guided around the bridge project using Olive School Road to MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) to MD 17 (Petersville Road). A temporary traffic signal will be installed at MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) and Olive School Road prior to the closure.

• MD 478 (Knoxville Road) Bridge over Branch of the Potomac River – Bridge replacement project –MD 478 is closed through fall. Local traffic will have access up to the point of the bridge closure. Through motorists will be detoured to MD 17 (Petersville Road/Burkittsville Road) to MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) and back to MD 478. Motorists may also choose US 340 as an alternate route.

Howard County

• Southbound US 1 (Washington Boulevard) between Brumbaugh Street and Bonnie View Lane – BGE utility relocation – Right lane closed until early-November.

• Triadelphia Road Bridge over MD 32 – Highway widening project – Eastbound Triadelphia Road will be closed and detoured until summer 2020. Westbound Triadelphia Road will be able to use existing bridge.

Prince George’s County

• Southbound I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) ramp to eastbound MD 214 (Central Avenue) – Bridge replacement project – Total ramp closure with traffic using the Capital Beltway/MD 202 (Largo Road) interchange and then to MD 214 via MD 202.

Washington County

• MD 68 (Lappans Road) Bridge over Winchester/Western Railroad – Bridge rehabilitation – Westbound MD 68 will be closed and detoured during phase one of construction. Beginning Monday, July 29, Motorists travelling on westbound Lappans Road will be guided to MD 632 (Downsville Pike) to westbound I-70 to southbound I-81 and back to westbound Lappans Road. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra commuting time during this closure, which will be in effect until fall.

Anne Arundel County

• MD 181 (6th Street) over Spa Creek – Routine drawbridge maintenance – On September 11, motorists can expect test openings of the drawbridge (no longer than a normal opening for a vessel passage) between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. new

• Westbound MD 175 (Annapolis Road/Jessup Road) between National Business Parkway and MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) – Utility relocation – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
 
• MD 3 (Crain Highway) between Conway Road and Carver Road - Gas main installation - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• MD 45 (York Road) between north of the Towson Roundabout and Cavan Drive (just north of I-695) - Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
 
• MD 45 (York Road) between north of Padonia Road and Wight Avenue – Resurfacing/Water main replacement – Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 32 (Sykesville Road) between MD 26 (Liberty Road) and the Liberty Reservoir Bridge – Resurfacing –Single lane closures guided by a flagging operation Sunday night through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 26 (Liberty Road) Bridge over Liberty Reservoir – Bridge deck patching and repair – Single lane closure in both directions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings.

Frederick County

HIGH-IMPACT - MD 77 (Foxville Road) between Pryor Road and Stottlemeyer Road) – Culvert replacement project – MD 77 will be closed and detoured from September 3 until September 30.

• St. Anthony Road at southbound US 15 – Acceleration Lane Construction – Entrance to St. Anthony from southbound US 15 closed until the fall.

Montgomery County

• I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MacArthur Boulevard and the American Legion Bridge – Bridge cleaning and painting – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. through end of year.

• MD 28 (Norbeck Road) between MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and Baileys Lane – Intersection improvements – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. new

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and St. Andrews Way (near Sligo Creek Parkway) - Resurfacing – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
