(March 16, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is improving the road surface of MD 165 (Pylesville Road) in the Pylesville area of Harford County.  Crews have begun milling and patching sections of the roadway between the St. Clair Road bridge and the driveway to North Harford High School. The $570,000 highway maintenance project is expected to be complete mid-April, weather permitting.

There will be single lane closures along northbound and southbound MD 165 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. MDOT SHA’s contractor, Allan Myers-MD, Inc. of Fallston is performing the work. Crews will use barrels and portable construction traffic signs to alert motorists and guide them through the work zone.

MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers.  Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and, look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes.  Drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
