I-97 sign)Northbound I-97 Overnight Work Scheduled Thursday, August 12 Has Been Postponed. A New Date Will Be Announced. (August 11, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is continuing its pavement repairs to I-97 northbound in northern Anne Arundel County tomorrow night.Starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, August 12, through 5 a.m. the next morning, Friday, August 13, crews will work on I-97 northbound between MD 176 (Dorsey Road) and MD 648 (Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard). Crews will close the left two lanes to perform the work. Drivers may use MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) or I-95 as alternate north-south routes.
