• I-695 Outer Loop from I-83 North (BHX) to Greenspring Ave. – ITS Underground Installation – Weekday right shoulder closures for ITS installation by contractor team 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  along Monday, Feb. 28-Friday, March 4. New
• I-695 Inner and Outer Loop from Milford Mill Rd. to I-70 – Field investigation – Rolling operation on the left shoulders of I-695 for field investigation work by contractor team 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  along Monday, Feb. 28-Friday, March 4. New
• I-70 East between Woodlawn Dr. and Ingleside Ave. – Setup of Laydown Yard – Installation of permanent left shoulder closure for contract laydown yard by contractor team; starting on or about 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28.  New
• MD 140 Northbound at Olive Lane / BGE Electric Reliability Project Spring 2022 - Through mid-May 2022, BGE will maintain two through lanes and the left turn lane along northbound MD 140. Right turns in and out of properties on Olive Lane will be maintained throughout construction. Left turns in and out of Olive Lane and the businesses directly south of Olive Lane will be restricted. BGE will maintain all through lanes along southbound MD 140 through the work zone.    
• MD 122 (Security Blvd.) from Rolling Rd to east of I-695 - Roadway milling, patching and resurfacing – Occasional weeknight single lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday-Thursday as weather permits through late March 2022.    

Charles County     

• Eastbound MD 228 from Middletown Road to Western Parkway- Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays.     

Dorchester County     

• US 50 East between Chateau Dr and Linkwood Rd – Guardrail repair and replacement.  Double lane and shoulder closures weekdays 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through March 4. New
• MD 16 East and West - Guardrail repair and replacement.  Double lane and shoulder closures weekdays 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through March 4. New   
• US 50 East between Beaver Neck Village Rd and Vincent Rd – Utility Work.  Double lane and shoulder closures weekdays 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. through April 1.         
• MD 331 North and South between US 50EB ramp and Indiantown Rd. – Utility work.  Single lane and shoulder closures weekdays 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. through May 26.

Frederick County       

• Eastbound US 340 bridge over Catoctin Creek past MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) exit - Bridge repairs - Starting Wednesday, March 2, crews will close the right lane of eastbound US 340 for repairs. The daily lane closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. After planking work is complete on that lane, about one week later, crews will begin working daytime and overnight hours daily to make the necessary concrete and surface repairs. MDOT SHA will maintain two-way traffic on the bridge throughout the project; however, at least one travel lane will be closed around the clock until the project is complete in April. Motorists are advised to take an alternate route during the project to avoid travel delays. New
• I-270: Exit ramp from southbound I-270 to northbound MD 85 and exit ramp from northbound MD 85 to southbound I-270 - Pipe installation - Overnight closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday night through Friday. The work and closures are expected to continue through the fall.          

Harford County        

• MD 165 from MD 24 (Rocks Road) to North Harford High School driveway - Highway maintenance pavement patching – Overnight single lane closures and flagging operations on this section of MD 165 overnight, Sunday-Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day as weather permits through late March 2022.         
• MD 136 from Telegraph Road to MD 165 - Highway Maintenance pavement patching work - Weekday single lane closures with flagging operations, as weather permits, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday through late March 2022.  
• MD 7 from MD 152 to Fashion Way - Highway maintenance pavement patching work - Weekday single lane closures with flagging operations, as weather permits, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday through late March 2022.     

Howard County

• MD 32 (Patuxent Freeway) between the Burntwoods Road interchange and south of MD 144 - Roadway widening project - On Thursday, March 3, traffic in both north and southbound directions will move one lane to the east onto the new constructed southbound lanes. The traffic shift will start at 9 a.m. and be complete by 3 p.m. No lane closures are necessary. New

Long-Term Closures

Baltimore County

• Cove Road bridge over I-695 - Bridge deck replacement - On I-695, daytime single lane closures in both directions may occur Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight lane closures Sunday-Thursday between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day. On the Cove Road bridge over I-695, long-term single lane closures are in effect, with two-way traffic on the southern (eastbound) side of the bridge deck, through summer 2022.   
• I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway) North and South Bridges over Padonia Road – Dual Bridge replacement and interchange improvements. There may be single lane closures on I-83 north and I-83 south between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. Single lane closures on Padonia Rd. West between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and between 8 p.m.  and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday.  Detours of Padonia Rd. underneath I-83 possible on any weeknight (Sunday-Thursday) between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning. Note: Interchange Ramp from Padonia Road East to I-83 North closed 24 hours/7 days until project is complete summer 2022.                             
• US 40 Dual Bridges over Little Gunpowder Falls and (Big) Gunpowder Falls – Four bridges to be replaced between White Marsh and Joppatowne – Motorists should expect temporary single lane closures on eastbound and westbound US 40 during the following off-peak times:  Daytime (Monday-Saturday) Westbound US 40: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Eastbound US 40: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Overnight (Sunday-Thursday) Westbound and Eastbound US 40:  7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day. 
• Note: The lanes on the eastbound and westbound US 40 bridges over the (Big) Gunpowder Falls will be split through spring 2022.  Possible traffic impact in Harford County.      
• US 1 (Washington Blvd.) Bridge over CSX Transportation rail lines – Bridge replacement –  Clarke Blvd. at US 1 is closed/detoured 24 hours, 7 days/week through summer 2022.  Posted detour route includes Selford Rd., Francis Ave., Oregon and Carville Aves., Tom Day Blvd. and US 1 Alt. (Southwestern Blvd.)      
• MD 25 (Falls Road) between Baltimore City / County Line and I-695 – Baltimore County DPWT water line replacement project through spring 2024 - Overnight lane closures with flagging operations along sections of Falls Road, 9 p.m.-5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday, with some daytime work as needed 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. New
• MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Brenbrook Drive and N. Rolling Road - ADA Sidewalk Reconstruction/Upgrades - Temporary single lane closures on MD 26 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday and between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday-Thursday through spring 2022. 
• MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Deer Park Rd. and Pikeswood Rd. - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)  Sidewalk Reconstruction/Upgrades - Temporary single lane closures on MD 26 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday through late spring 2022.             
• MD 43 (White Marsh Blvd.) at Honeygo Blvd. - Intersection Widening and Improvements - Temporary daytime lane closures on MD 43 and Honeygo Blvd. legs of the intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and overnight lane closures at any time between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. When necessary, there will be temporary lane closures on weekends, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and/or Sunday.              
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between Painters Mill Rd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd. – Resurfacing/County water main replacement - Crews are installing new 36-inch water main from Owings Mills Blvd. to East Pleasant Hill Road with connections to fire hydrants and buildings along MD 140. Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. between Owings Mills Blvd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday-Thursday nights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day.  Access to all driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures.            
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between E. Pleasant Hill Rd. and Stocksdale Ave. – Resurfacing/County water main replacement - Daytime single lane closures Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. between E. Pleasant Hill Rd and Stocksdale Ave.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday-Thursday nights between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next day.  Access to driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures.                      
• MD 147 (Harford Road) / Joppa Road - Intersection Improvements - Daytime single lane closures and flagging operations on Harford and Joppa Road in the vicinity of the intersection Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays. Overnight work with lane closures Sunday-Thursday 9 p.m.-5 a.m. the next day. Traffic shift in effect as of Jan. 26 on westbound Joppa Rd. with lanes shifted to the left approaching Harford Rd. Traffic shift and right lane closure in effect along southbound MD 147 from Jomat Avenue to south of Joppa Road, through spring 2022.  All driveways open.                   
• MD 151 (Sparrows Pt. Blvd.) / Wharf Road (MD 151 B) Interchange - Three-bridge replacement project at interchange.  The southbound side of the existing MD 151 bridge is closed and two-way traffic - one lane in each direction - runs on the northbound side of the bridge. This will be in effect for the next year and will enable partial demolition of the existing bridge over Wharf Road and future construction of the new bridge.  This is in addition to the detours of southbound and northbound Wharf Road at the interchange.  
• Notes: The northbound side of MD 151 is closed between the Baltimore County Highways Maintenance Shop (1500 block) and the Wharf Rd. Interchange.  Two-way traffic runs on the southbound side of MD 151, one lane in each direction. The existing ramp from northbound MD 151 to southbound Wharf Road is open for local traffic only.  

Cecil County

• MD 222 south of Frenchtown Road - MD 222 (Bainbridge Road) will be closed for utility work between Frenchtown Road and South Main Street in Port Deposit beginning February 14 and continuing for approximately 60 days. Detour using MD 275 (Perrylawn Drive) and MD 276 (Tome Highway). New     
• MD 279 (Elkton Road) at MD 277 (Fletchwood Road) – Northbound MD 279 is reduced to a single lane at the MD 277 intersection near the Delaware line and shifted across the median to a contraflow pattern (one lane in each direction). This is part of the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDot) reconstruction of route 279.  Updated       

Frederick County

• Northbound US 15 Bridge over MD 77 – Bridge Deck replacement project – Right lane closed. Each side of the bridge is expected to take six to eight months to finish. The entire project is expected to be complete by spring 2023.     
• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) southbound from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road) - I-270 acceleration lane expansion project in Montgomery County. Single and multiple off-peak lane closures, weekdays 9:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.  Possible Traffic Impact in Frederick County.

Harford County

• Old Joppa Road Bridge over I-95 (MDTA project) – Bridge replacement project – Old Joppa Road closed and locally detoured.   
• Clayton Road bridge over I-95 between MD 152 and MD 24 (MDTA project) - Clayton Road closed and detoured until early 2022.     
• I-95/MD 152 Interchange Reconstruction (MDTA project) - On or about February 9 travel lanes on MD 152 at I-95 will be shifted to accommodate reconstruction of the existing interchange. MD 152 traffic will shift from the current location to the outside of the roadway in both directions on MD 152 between Old Mountain Road/Jaycee Drive and MD 7 (Philadelphia Road). All access to and from I-95 will retain its present configuration throughout this phase of construction, which will last through spring 2022. New

Montgomery County

• MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) at Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway Intersection improvement project. Single off-peak lane closures on MD 185, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and single off-peak lane closures on Jones Bridge Road, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, 7 days per week, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2023.              
• US 29 (Colesville Road) from St. Andrews Way to Stewart Lane -Safety and resurfacing project - Single daytime lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single/multiple off-peak overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. through winter 2022.                                   
• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) from north of Gold Mine Road to south of Holiday Drive. - Roadway relocation project - Intermittent single northbound and southbound lane closures weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through year-end 2022.  
• MD 190 (River Road) from MD 188 (Wilson Lane) to MD 614 (Goldsboro Road) - Roadway improvement project. Single lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and multiple lane closures, overnight, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through winter 2022.                        
• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) from Interstate 70 to I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Traffic congestion relief construction project - Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single, double and triple overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent temporary ramp closures with detours up to 24 hours a day through year-end 2022.             
• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) southbound from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road) I-270 acceleration lane expansion project. Single and multiple off-peak lane closures, weekdays 9:30 a.m.to 3;30 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. through year-end 2022.                    

Prince George’s County

• US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) - College Ave. to MD 193 (University Boulevard) - US 1 Reconstruction Project - Corridor Improvement- Northbound and southbound single lane closures throughout the length of the project Saturday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. tm. through late summer 2023.      
• MD 5 (Branch Avenue) from the DC Line to the intersection of Curtis Drive - Safety and resurfacing project. Intermittent/temporary single and multiple MD 5 northbound off-peak lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., overnight, Sunday through Thursday 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and weekends, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Intermittent/temporary single and multiple MD 5 southbound off-peak lane closures weekdays, 6 a.m. to 12 noon overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and intermittent/temporary single and multiple MD 637 single lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through late spring 2022.                            
• MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) at Kerby Hill Road/Livingston Road. Interchange construction project - Intermittent single and multiple-off peak lane closures on all roads, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2022.      
• MD 212A (Powder Mill Road) from Pine Street to US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) - Roadway reconstruction project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays, 8 a.m. to  4 p.m. through late summer 2022.                 
• MD 500 (Queens Chapel Road) from Eastern Avenue to MD 208 (Hamilton Street) - Community safety and enhancement project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through late summer 2022.            
• I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) from Suitland Road to MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) - Suitland Parkway bridge replacement project. Road shoulder closure permissible 24 hours daily, intermittent single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through year end 2022.              

Washington County

• I-70 East and Westbound at the MD 65 Interchange – Bridge rehabilitation and widening of I 70 bridges over MD 65- Left shoulder closed eastbound/westbound long term for phase 1 work. Intermittent, single lane closures at nighttime from Sunday through Thursday between midnight and 5 a.m. on I-70. Additionally, alternating/single lane closures will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weekdays on MD 65 north and south.
