Baltimore County    

  • I-95 at I-695 Southwest Interchange - Bridge Rehabilitation - Traffic shifts, shoulder and lane closures and overnight interchange ramp detours for multi-bridge rehabilitation project. All dates/times weather permitting and subject to change. Dates Updated   
Overnight Ramp Closures, May 22-25:  
Ramp from northbound I-95 to westbound I-695 (inner loop): The ramp will be closed and detoured overnight, 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. the next morning Monday – Thursday, May 22-25.  Detour: proceed north past I-695, take exit ramp to westbound Caton Avenue, proceed west on Caton Avenue to southbound I-95, to westbound I-695.    
Ramp from southbound I-95 to eastbound I-695 (outer loop); The ramp will be closed and detoured overnight 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning Wednesday and Thursday, May 24-25.  Detour: Prior to I-695, take exit ramp to eastbound Caton Avenue, proceed east on Caton Avenue to southbound US 1 to eastbound I-695.   
 
Overnight Lane Closures, May 21-25:    
Northbound and Southbound I-95 at I-695: Motorists can expect overnight single-lane closures between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. and double left-lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday through Thursday, May 21-25.  
Daytime Lane Closures, May 22--26:   
Sulphur Spring Road under I-95: Motorists can expect daytime lane shifts and/or lane closures with flagging operations to control two-way traffic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday, May 22-26.    
 
  • ​I-695 TSMO I-70 to MD 43 – Intelligent Transportation Systems hardware installation – Daytime right shoulder closure along I-695 Outer Loop from from I-83 to I-70, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 22-26. Updated 
  • I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) from Providence Road to MD 41 (Perring Parkway) - Interstate and Primary Highway Asphalt Patching – intermittent overnight paving work through late June. Occasional overnight multiple lane closures may be in effect on I-695, 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday through Thursday through late June. 
  • I-695 Bridges over Morse Lane and Norfolk Southern RR – Areawide Cleaning & Painting of Bridges – Occasional daytime single lane closures on I-695 Inner and Outer Loops possible between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday and between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays through spring 2023.  Blast paint removal and application of new paint may take place at other times behind barriers and within project containment areas.    
  • I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expy.) from MD 137 (Mt. Carmel Rd.) to Middletown Rd. - Interstate and Primary Highway Asphalt Resurfacing - Overnight single lane closures in effect on northbound and southbound I-83, and overnight ramp closures/detours when necessary 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday through Thursday through late June.  
  • I-83 Northbound and Southbound Bridges over Shawan Road – Areawide interstate and primary bridge cleaning and painting – Daytime shoulder closures on northbound and southbound I-83 at Shawan Rd. interchange to set up work zone signs and barriers to prepare for future cleaning and painting of steel bridge beams on bridges over Shawan Road summer 2023.  
  • Various Locations in Baltimore County – MD 25, MD 88, MD 91, MD 128 - Areawide Pavement Surface Friction Treatments - Work will begin Sunday night, May 21 weather permitting, with overnight rolling operations Sunday – Thursday nights, including specialized large trucks moving through the area.  Temporary lane closures and flagging operations will begin each night at 9 p.m. and end by 5 a.m. the following morning at these locations, in order: Locations Updated 
  • MD 88 (Black Rock Rd.) from 4100 block to 3900 block; MD 88 from west of 4100 block to Trenton Rd.; MD 25 (Falls Rd.) from 900 ft. north of Walnut Way to 1000 feet south of Gunpowder Rd.; MD 25 from 18000 block to 18200 block; MD 25 from 500 ft. north of Butler Rd. to 15200 block; MD 91 (Emory Rd.) from 5500 to 5700 block.    
  • US 1 (Belair Road) from south of Dunfield Road to Ebenezer Road - Areawide pavement patching / resurfacing – Overnight single lane closures 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. Sunday – Thursday through late June.    
  • MD 702 Bridges over Back River - Areawide interstate and primary bridge cleaning and painting – Daytime shoulder work and single lane closures possible northbound and southbound between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through spring 2023. Blast paint removal and application of new paint may take place at other times behind barriers and within project containment areas.      
  • MD 122 (Security Blvd.) Eastbound Approach to I-695 South - BGE Underground Electric Line Project – BGE is working in the right-turn lane between the Security Square Mall entrance and the ramp to I-695 South (Beltway Outer Loop) 24/7 through late June.  The ramp to I-695 South will remain open, but drivers will have a very short right-turn access point after passing the utility work zone.  The sidewalk on eastbound I-695 will be closed during utility work; pedestrians may use the westbound sidewalk to walk east between the mall entrance/Belmont Rd. and Whitehead Rd.
  • MD 137 (Mt. Carmel Rd.) between Cedar Grove Road and MD 45 (York Rd.) - Highway Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing.  Daytime lane closures with flagging operations as needed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late June.    
  • MD 139 (Charles Street) from Bridge over Joppa Road to southern intersection with Bellona Avenue (MD 134) - Areawide Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing - Overnight single lane closures 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday through Thursday through late June.      
  • MD 542 (Loch Raven Blvd.) at Cromwell Bridge Road intersection - Areawide Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing - Overnight single lane closures 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday through Thursday through late June.    
  • MD 151 (North Point Blvd.) between Wise Ave. and New Battle Grove Rd. – Pavement improvement. Daytime lane closures with flagging operations as needed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late June.       
  • MD 940 (Owings Mills Blvd. within I-795 Interchange) - Interstate and Primary Highway Asphalt Resurfacing – Daytime single lane closures 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and overnight single lane closures 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday through Thursday through late June.    
  • US 40 (Pulaski Highway) from Ebenezer Road to Days Cove Road - Interstate and Primary Highway Concrete Pavement Patching and Resurfacing - Daytime single lane closures on eastbound and westbound US 40 in effect 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and overnight single lane closures 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday through Thursday, through late June.             

Calvert County                ​

  • MD 4 at Mount Harmony Road – Intersection Improvements - Daytime single lane closure along northbound and southbound MD 4 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. if needed. Intersection turning restrictions remain in place while work is underway.    
  • MD 506 between MD 508 and MD 4 – Roadway Patching and Slurry Seal Pavement Application – Daytime single lane closure with a flagging operation, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. 
  • MD 260 near Chesapeake Village Boulevard - Daytime single flagging operation on Friday, March 31 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to install temporary traffic signs; pre-construction activities for MD 260 roadway improvement project in Chesapeake Beach.           

Carroll County                                  

  • Springfield Ave (MD 851) between Spout Hill Road and Walnut Ave - Drainage improvement project – Single-lane closure during the work hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday so crews can safely install a new sewer manhole and pipes underneath Springfield Avenue. MDOT SHA expects the work to be complete this summer.   
  • MD 27 (Ridge Rd) between Gillis Falls Rd and MD 26 (Liberty Rd) - Highway Maintenance – Single-lane closure with a flagging operation. Daytime hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. After the last day of school in Carroll County on Thursday, June 15, crews will start work one hour earlier at 8 a.m.  Overnight hours are Sunday night through Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. This project is expected to be complete in June.   
  • MD 97 (New Washington Rd) between MD 26 (Liberty Rd) and the bridge over Morgan Run (south of Nicodemus Rd) - Highway Maintenance – Single-lane closure and flagging operation Sunday night through Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. This project is expected to be complete by July.     

Charles County   

  • US 301 between MD 227 and MD 6 - Pavement Patching- Nighttime lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights through late-May.     

Dorchester County   

  • US 50 East and West between MD 331 (Rhodesdale-Vienna Road) and MD 750 (Old Rt. 50) - milling, patching, paving and striping operations. Double lane and shoulder closures weekdays 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. through mid-May.   

Frederick County    

  • US 15 between Jefferson St and Motter Ave – Guardrail installation – Starting Sunday, May 21, single-lane and shoulder closure overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project will take one week to complete.  
  • US 15 between US 340 and the Pennsylvania state line – Highway Maintenance Patching – Single-lane closures on northbound US 15 (north of Monocacy Boulevard) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Southbound US 15 lane closures will happen south of Monocacy Boulevard between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. This project is expected to be complete by June.    
  • Southbound US 15 at Willow Rd – Auxiliary lane construction – Right lane and exit ramp closures as crew extend the acceleration lane at Willow Road to the Christopher’s Crossing/Monocacy Blvd exit lane. Work hours are Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project is expected to be complete by June.   
  • I-70 between the Washington Co line and the Carroll Co line – Highway Bridge Maintenance - Single-lane closure to patch and resurface areas before and after all I-70 bridges. Work starts on eastbound first then switches to westbound. The schedule is Sunday night through Thursday night with the following hours: 
Westbound lanes: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.  
Eastbound lanes: 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.  New
    

Harford County       

  • ​US 40 Westbound at Joppa Farm Road – Concrete Pavement Replacement Work at Intersection – Weekend and Following Week Concrete Work Postponed Due to Unforeseen Pavement Conditions, New Date to be announced. Two travel lanes and right-turn lane on westbound US 40 closed and only one through/turn lane open 24 hrs. all weekend on approach to Joppa Farm Rd. 7 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, then following week 5 a.m. Monday through Friday afternoon one travel lane and right-turn lane will be closed 24 hrs. all week until (re-opening time TBA).  Traffic Impacts in Harford County. Through travelers on westbound US 40 between MD 152 and MD 43 advised to take alternative routes such as MD 7 or I-95. 
  • US 40 from MD 22 (Aberdeen Thruway) to Robinhood Rd. - Highway Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing.  Daytime lane closures and lane shifts 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late June.    
  • MD 24 (Rocks Rd.) from Ferncliffe Lane to Cherry Hill Rd. - Highway Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing.  Daytime lane closures, with flagging operations as needed, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late June.      
  • MD 136 (Calvary Rd.) from MD 543 (Fountain Green Rd.) to MD 22 (Churchville Rd.) - Highway Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing. Daytime lane closures with flagging operations as needed, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late June.         
  • MD 146 (Jarrettsville Pike) from the Baltimore County Line (Bridge over Little Gunpowder Falls) to Pocock Road - Highway Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing.  Daytime lane closures with flagging operations as needed, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late June.    
  • MD 159 (Perryman Rd.) from roundabout to Canning House Road – Highway Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing.  Daytime lane closures with flagging operations as needed, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late June.       

Howard County   

  • US 1 between Whiskey Bottom Rd and the bridge over Patuxent River, north of Gorman Rd – Highway Maintenance Patching – Single-lane closure Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project is expected to be complete in June.  

Kent & Queen Anne’s Counties   

  • ​US 301 between MD 291 and MD 544 – Bridge work – FULL CLOSURE of US 301 in both directions Wednesday 5/17 and Thursday 5/18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Detour routes will be posted. All northbound US 301 traffic must exit at MD 544. Detour MD 544 east to MD 313 north to MD 291 west back to US 301 north. All southbound US 301 traffic must exit at MD 291. Detour MD 291 west to MD 290 south to MD 544 east back to US 301 south. New

Allegany County     

  • ​I-68 (National Freeway) between Exit 29 MD 546 to the Allegany County Line - Daytime single lane closures both eastbound and westbound. Monday – Friday sunrise to sunset - lighting upgrades, traffic barrier installation and paving – through late summer   
  • I-68 (National Freeway) between Exit 64 MV Smith and Exit 68 Little Orleans– Daytime single lane closures both eastbound and westbound.  Monday – Friday sunrise to sunset – resurfacing project.                                                                           

Anne Arundel County     

  • ​Interstate 97 between MD 450 and MD 178 – Pavement Resurfacing – Nighttime single lane closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights.    
  • MD 175 (Annapolis Road) between McCarron Court and National Business Parkway – Interchange Reconstruction project at MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) - Daytime single lane closures along MD 175 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.; overnight temporary ramp detour for pavement patching for the northbound MD 295 ramp to eastbound MD 175.  
  • MD 652 between MD 176 and end of SHA maintenance at the cul-de-sac – Pavement Resurfacing – Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays, and nighttime single lane closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights.    
  • ​MD 295 between MD 100 and I-195 – Bridge maintenance – Shoulder and/or single lane closures weeknights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.      
  • MD 2 between I-695 and Hammonds Lane – Pavement Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements - Nighttime single lane closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights.   
  • MD 648 between McKinsey Road and MD 2 – Pavement Patching – Daytime single lane closures, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekdays. Traffic will be guided using a flagging operation.                                

Baltimore County               ​

  • Putty Hill Ave. westbound on approach to Bridge over I-695 - Verizon utility relocations - Temporary shoulder closures 24/7 on Putty Hill Ave. with occasional flagging operations 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday-Friday. The end of Grove Road at Putty Hill Ave. is closed to all traffic and local residents may have access through Green Needle Dr. (no through street) through late summer 2023.                                
  • I-695 between MD 151 (North Poin​t Blvd.) and Cove Road – Traffic barrier (guardrail) installation - Daytime single lane closures on Inner or Outer Loops, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday-Friday scheduled through mid-June.   
  • I-695 Bridge over US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) - Bridge support structure rehabilitation – Crews are working on repairs to bridge piers and abutments under I-695 with traffic shifts and temporary lane closures on US 40 westbound underneath I-695 in Catonsville through late spring 2023. Updated         
  • I-695 North (Beltway Inner Loop) Noise Wall from MD 144 to US 40 – Construction of new noise wall – Single-lane closures, ramp and shoulder closures possible along I-695 Inner Loop from MD 144 to Edmondson Ave. during off-peak hours when necessary for installation of noise wall.  Interchange ramp closures possible Sunday – Thursday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day (will be posted on message boards in advance) until fall 2023.         
  • US 40 (Pulaski Highway) Dual Bridges over Little Gunpowder Falls and (Big) Gunpowder Falls - Bridge Rehabilitation – Construction work will proceed on all four bridges through late spring 2023, with ongoing temporary single lane closures on eastbound and westbound US 40 in the vicinity of the bridges during the following off-peak times:  Daytime (Monday – Saturday) Westbound US 40: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Eastbound US 40: 7 a.m.  to 4 p.m.  Overnight (Sunday – Thursday) Westbound and Eastbound US 40:  7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day. Updated      
  • MD 25 (Falls Road) between Baltimore City / County Line and I-695 – Baltimore County DPWT water line replacement project - Overnight lane closures with flagging operations along sections of Falls Road, 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. the next day Sunday – Thursday, with some daytime work as needed 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. through spring 2024.                   
  • MD 26 (Liberty Rd.) from I-695 to North Rolling Rd. – ADA Sidewalk Improvements - Overnight single lane closures along this section of Liberty Road Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning.  Daytime single lane closures on this section of Liberty Road possible Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.    
  • MD 30 (Hanover Pike) at Rue St. Lo Drive – Slope stabilization, intersection curb and gutter and roadway resurfacing - Beginning March 27, lane closures on MD 30 with flagging operations 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and overnight as needed from 8 PM to 5 AM Sunday to Thursday, beginning spring 2023 through late summer 2023.   
  • MD 43 (White Marsh Blvd.) at Honeygo Blvd. - Intersection Widening and Improvements - Temporary occasional daytime lane closures on MD 43 and Honeygo Blvd. legs of the intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and overnight lane closures at any time between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. When necessary, there will be temporary lane closures on weekends, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday and/or Sunday through early summer 2023.   • ​MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) between I-695 and Mt. Wilson Lane/ Grey Rock Rd. with MD 140 at Hooks Lane - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements - includes traffic signal upgrades, crosswalk markings, and paving on MD 140 and also on Hooks Lane at MD 140. Temporary daytime single lane closures on MD 140 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday and overnight single lane closures on Hooks Lane approach to MD 140 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning Sunday – Thursday. Work continues through spring 2023.         
  • MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between E. Pleasant Hill Rd. and Stocksdale Ave. –Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Daytime single lane closures Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. between E. Pleasant Hill Rd and Stocksdale Ave.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday – Thursday nights between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next day. Access to driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures.  Project scheduled through late summer 2024.                               
  • MD 151 (Sparrows Point Blvd.) / Wharf Road (MD 151 B) Interchange - Three-bridge replacement project at interchange – New traffic pattern in effect: Northbound and southbound Wharf Road (and the northern bridge) are now open to traffic between MD 158 (Bethlehem Blvd.) and the left-turn ramp to MD 151. This ramp / bridge is now open for direct access to Tradepoint Atlantic (TPA) complex. Wharf Road remains closed underneath both the MD 151 bridge (southern bridge) and underneath the ramp (middle bridge) for bridge construction through spring 2024. Bridge replacement and other construction work within the interchange scheduled to continue through summer 2024.   
  • US 1 (Washington Blvd.) Bridge over CSXT – Bridge replacement project - Temporary lane closures on US 1 may occur at any time Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnights Sunday – Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning through late summer 2023.  Clarke Blvd. at US 1 closed/detoured until late summer 2023. Updated                      

Calvert County

  • MD 2/4 (Solomons Island Road) - Guardrail Installation (varied locations) - Motorists can expect shoulder and occasional off-peak single-lane closures (if needed) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays.                     

Charles County        

  • Eastbound MD 228 at Western Parkway – Intersection Improvements - 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday nights through Friday mornings, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.        
  • MD 227 between Marshall Landing pier and Fenwick Road – Roadway Resurfacing - Daytime single lane closures with a flagging operation, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays       

Cecil County                                                                                                              

  • MD 213 (Augustine Herman Highway) bridge over C&D Canal in Chesapeake City – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers bridge repair project. Occasional single lane closures and flagging will occur 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday-Thursday.                   

Frederick County                                                              

                 
  • Northbound US 15 Bridge over MD 77 – Bridge Deck replacement project – The left lane is closed. Each side of the bridge is expected to take six to eight months to finish. The entire project is expected to be complete by the end of 2023.          

Garrett County     

  •  MD 39 Oakland at the US 219 Intersection – Replacement of bridge deck – Temporary   traffic signals in place on MD 39 – Detour – First Street Closed – motorists should continue to 2nd street.             
  • US 219 (Garrett Highway) from Pysell Road to MD 42 (Friendsville Road) - Patching and resurfacing – Flagging operation will be in place – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Friday.
  • MD 42 at the bridge over Buffalo Run near Friendsville to the PA State Line – Ditch trimming, patch, mill and resurfacing – Flagging operation will be in place – 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.  Monday - Friday                                                                    

Harford County                                                                                  

  • MD 161 (Darlington Road) bridge over Deer Creek – Bridge side barrier replacement – There will be weekday single lane closures 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. with flagpersons controlling two-way traffic on bridge winter 2023 to install a temporary traffic signal system that will control two-way traffic on the bridge. Once the temporary signal is in place, his bridge will be reduced from two lanes to one lane 24/7 during bridge rehabilitation work through late fall 2023.        
  • Stafford Road bridge over Deer Creek – by Harford County DPW-Highways – bridge rehabilitation.  This bridge is closed to all traffic and detoured onto MD 161 until late May 2023. Updated       
  • I-95 Northbound Express Toll Lanes by MDTA​ – Replacement of Abingdon Road Bridge over I-95. MDTA has closed the bridge and locally detoured it through spring 2023.       
  • I-95 Northbound Express Toll Lanes project by MDTA - I-95/MD 152 Interchange Reconstruction and Park and Ride Lot Relocation - Old Park and Ride lot closed late 2021, new Park and Ride Lot scheduled for completion late 2025.  Construction of the NB I-95 roadway began spring 2021 and is anticipated to be complete fall 2024.                 

Howard County                     

    
  • I-95 between the Howard/Prince George’s Co line (south of MD 216) and the Howard/Baltimore Co line (bridge over the Patapsco River) – Guardrail installation – Single-lane and shoulder closure weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a mobile operation. Current location is southbound I-95 near MD 175. This project will be complete this fall.       
  • MD 94 bridge over I-70 - Bridge deck replacement project – Southbound MD 94 lane is closed. This project is expected to be complete this summer.                             
  • US 1 between Whiskey Bottom Rd and the bridge over Patuxent River, north of Gorman Rd – Highway Maintenance Patching – Single-lane closure Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project is expected to be complete in June.

  • MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) from north of GoldMine Road to south of Holiday Drive - MD 97 relocation project. Intermittent off-peak single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.                  
  • Brookeville Road from MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) to Grayheaven Manor Road. Sewer relocation project. Full 24/7 road closure with detour. Drivers should add extra commute time and use MD 97 and MD 108 as alternate routes.                  
  • Brighton Dam Road near MD 97 (Georgia Avenue). MD 97 relocation project excavation and new road resurfacing work. Off-road activity with an intermittent off-peak flagging operation and single lane closures, Sunday through Saturday from sunrise to sunset.          
  • MD 108 (Olney Sandy Spring Road) from Olney Mill Road to Brooke Road -Safety and resurfacing project. Off-peak single daytime lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.  through late summer 2023.                   
  • MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) at Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway Intersection improvement project - Single off-peak lane closures on MD 185, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and single off-peak lane closures on Jones Bridge Road, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, 7 days per week, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2023.                 
  • MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) from Tilden Lane to Nicholson Lane/ Safety and resurfacing project. Off-peak single daytime weekday lane closures, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.               
  • Southbound I-270 between I-70 and I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Traffic congestion relief construction project - Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single, double, and triple overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent temporary ramp closures with detours up to 24 hours a day through late summer 2023.

  • US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) College Avenue to MD 193 (University Boulevard) - US 1 Reconstruction Project - Corridor Improvement - Northbound and southbound single lane closures throughout the length of the project Saturday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. tm. through late summer 2023.                          
  • US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) from Rhode Island Avenue to MD 212A (Powder Mill Road). Safety and resurfacing project. Off peak single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late summer 2023.                        
  • US 1 (Rhode Island Avenue) from Charles Armentrout Drive to Farragut Street. Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail project. Single and multiple off-peak lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through year-end 2023.                 
  • MD 210 at Livingston Road/Kerby Hill Road. Interchange construction project. Intermittent off-peak single and multiple lane closures, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.          
  • MD 212A (Powder Mill Road) from Pine Street to US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) - Roadway reconstruction project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.                                             
  • MD 223 (Woodyard Road) from Sherwood Drive to Victoria Drive - Sidewalk construction project - Off-peak lane closures, weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.                                                   
  • MD 223 (Woodyard Road) at Dower House Road - Geometric improvement project - Single weekday lane closures, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.                   
  • MD  500 (Queens Chapel Road) from Eastern Avenue to MD 208 (Hamilton Street) Community safety and enhancement project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays,9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.                 
  • US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) over I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Bridge painting and cleaning project. Single and multiple off-peak lane closures; 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.            
           

Queen Anne’s County                 

    
  • US 301 (Blue Star Memorial Highway) between MD 291 and Pfalzgroff  Lane – Bridge replacement. US 301 is reduced to one lane in each direction through fall 2023. Northbound traffic is being shifted across the median to run on one lane of the southbound alignment. This is an ASE (Automated Speed Enforcement) work zone with a reduced speed limit of 45 mph.            
             

St. Mary’s County   

   
  • MD 242 between Bushwood Wharf Road and the Dynard Run bridge structure – Pavement Patching and Slurry Seal Pavement Application – Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays.    
  • MD 235 between Cedar Lane and MD 5 – Pavement Resurfacing – Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.weekdays.    
   

Talbot County                                                                      

               
  • MD 33 (Talbot St.) from Spencer Ave. to Lee St. in St. Michaels - Sidewalk project. Occasional single-lane closures and flagging 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday through spring 2023.                         
                                                                        

Washington County                             

                
  • I-70 at the MD 65 (Sharpsburg Pike) eastbound and westbound  – Bridge rehabilitation and widening of I-70 bridges over MD 65 –   Motorists should expect periodic shoulder work and occasional lane closures.                   
  • I-68 East and West at Sideling Hill - Right and Left Lane Closures Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm to install traffic barrier and 3:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m. for paving operations.    
  • ​I-70 from PA Line to Frederick County Line – crack sealing, intermittent single lane closures 8pm-5am, Sunday-Thursday through June 30.
