(May 25, 2023) - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will work overnight next week to patch and repair the pavement on the westbound MD 32 bridge ramp at Exit 13A onto northbound I-95 in Savage. Beginning 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, crews will close the ramp to traffic and begin work. The project will continue overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, and is expected to be completed by Thursday morning, June 1, weather permitting.

During the overnight work, motorists on westbound MD 32 traveling to northbound I-95 will be detoured with the following route:
continue on westbound MD 32 past I-95 to exit 14 to Broken Lane Parkway;
take exit 14 to Broken Lane Parkway, and then exit onto eastbound MD 32; and
take Exit 13A to access northbound I-95.
Contractor PDI-Sheetz, of Linthicum Heights, will use electronic signs, barrels and cones to guide drivers safely through the work zone. The State Highway Administration understands lane closures and detours can be an inconvenience, but the work is necessary to maintain a safe and reliable transportation system.
As summer nears, all motorists are urged to remain vigilant for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists. Remember that motorcycles can be hidden from view in vehicle blind spots. Please look twice and save a life. Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
