Motorists Should Expect Traffic Delays During Work Hours

(March 21, 2024) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will repair and replace a sanitary manhole on Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23 on MD 12 (Snow Hill Road) near River Street in Snow Hill.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on April 22, crews will close the northbound lane of MD 12 to begin work on the manhole.  The southbound lane of MD 12 will remain open for 2-way traffic until the replacement is complete. Weather permitting, all work is expected to be completed by Thursday, April 24 at 7 a.m.

Spinello Construction of Baltimore Maryland will use arrow boards, cones, and flaggers to safely guide motorists through the work zone. Drivers should expect significant delays during work hours.

The State Highway Administration understands that roadwork will inconvenience travelers and asks all motorists to please stay alert and be patient as you pass through the work zone.
