Project Team to Present Revised Concept Based on Public Feedback

(May 9, 2024) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will host a public open house, 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 16, for an improvement project along US 1 (Belair Road) from the Baltimore City line to I-695 in Overlea. The open house will be held at the Fullerton Community Center, 7209 Belair Road, Baltimore County.

The State Highway Administration is revising a previous concept focused primarily on traffic operations based on feedback gathered at a listening session with State Highway Administration representatives, local officials and citizens. SHA is developing a new concept to improve safety, connectivity and accessibility for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users along the corridor.
