WHY:

A partnership between AAA Mid-Atlantic, Baltimore Metropolitan Council, Baltimore County Police and Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) to review the rules of the road prior to the start of the school year, with emphasis on pedestrian safety.  With schools reopening for the 2013-14 session, traffic will increase particularly during arrival and dismissal times.  As drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, parents and guardians – we all have a role to play in keeping Maryland’s school children safe.
