(All work is weather permitting.)

• Southbound I-97 at I-695 (single left lane closure) and southbound I-97 from MD 100 to New Cut Road (double left lane closure) – Concrete patching – The work will occur from 12 noon on Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday. (Note—once concrete patch is installed, it must come to strength so motorists may not see workers present at this time).

• Inner loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to MD 144 (Fredrick Road) – Bridge replacement – temporary ramp closure. Click here for details.

• Southbound and northbound I-95 at the Baltimore/Howard County line (bridge over the Patapsco River) – Pavement repair - Double lane closures from 10 p.m. until Sunday 5 a.m. Monday.

• Eastbound and westbound MD 122 (Security Boulevard) between Ingleside Avenue and I-70 – BGE utility relocation – Left lanes blocked until February 2014.  Click here for details.

• US 15 at Motter Avenue – Bridge replacement project – Beginning Sunday at 10 p.m., SHA will close the right lane on southbound US 15 to remove old steel girders on a section of the bridge.  The work will be completed by 5 a.m. on Monday.

• MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) at Sligo Creek Parkway- Bridge deck rehabilitation – Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., as well as overnight Sundays through Saturdays from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

While SHA and its partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify his or her driving style to help prevent crashes. Stay alert – look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving lanes and highway workers. Slow down and don't follow too closely. Safer Driving. Safer Work Zones. For everyone!
