(September 4, 2014) – The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will close MD 97 (Littlestown Pike) north of Mayberry Road in northern Carroll County from Friday, September 5 at 7 p.m. to Saturday, September 6 at noon. The reason for the temporary closure is to replace an underground pipe. SHA will posts signs to detour motorists around the closure using Mayberry Road and Arters Mill Road.

While SHA and its partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify his or her driving style to help prevent crashes.
