What:
The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting an informational meeting for the MD 97 Relocated project in Brookeville, Montgomery County.
SHA has refined the previously selected alternative that will reduce the steadily increasing traffic in the Town of Brookeville, improve traffic operations and safety on MD 97, and preserve the Town’s historic character.
SHA has completed 30 percent of the project design and is coordinating with the environmental agencies involved in the project. This project team expects to complete the project design and begin construction by summer 2016.
