Major Weekend Lane Closures

Anne Arundel County

• Inner loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to MD 648 (Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard) – Concrete patching – Ramp closure and detour Saturday from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. and concrete pour and cure Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

Baltimore County
 
• (MDTA Project) Inner loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between US 1 (Belair Road) and I-95 – Final paving/striping associated with Express Toll Lane Project – Double lane closures on the outer loop I-695 Sundays through Fridays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. 

• Inner loop and outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between MD 147 (Harford Road) and MD 41 (Perring Parkway) – Final paving/striping associated interchange reconstruction/bridge replacement project – Double lane closures on the outer loop I-695 Sundays through Fridays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. 

• Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) and Edmonson Avenue – Beltway widening – Right acceleration/deceleration closure Saturday from 12:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.

• Northbound I-83 between Shawan Road and MD 137 (Mt. Carmel Road) – Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures Sundays through Fridays between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Montgomery County
 

• MD 355 (Rockville Pike) between Wilson Drive and Woodmont Avenue - Montgomery County Crossing Project clearing and curb work - Single and double left and right lane closures in each direction beginning Friday at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

• MD 189 (Falls Road) Bridge over I-270 – Routine bridge inspection - Double lane closures Sunday between 4 a.m. until 12 noon.

• MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) Bridge over I-270 – Routine bridge inspection - Double lane closures Sunday between 4 a.m. until 12 noon.
 
• MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) between MD 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road) and Tucker Lane – Pavement patching – Single lane closures Sundays through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Prince George’s County

• Westbound US 50 (John Hanson Highway) between the Anne Arundel County Line and Lottsford Vista Road - Resurfacing – Single, double and triple lane closures Fridays through Mondays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• Inner and outer loops (north and southbound I-95) of I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 337 (Allentown Road) and MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) – Shoulder construction/Interchange work – Single and double lane closure in each direction Sundays through Fridays from 7 p.m. until to 5:00 a.m.

• MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) between 48th Street and Riverdale Road – Resurfacing - Single lane closures Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

• MD 500 (Queens Chapel Road) between MD 208 (Hamilton Street) and MD 410 (East West Highway) – Urban reconstruction/streetscape project/concrete work - Single lane closures Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Long-Term Closures

Baltimore County

• MD 147 (Harford Road) at Glen Arm Road/Mt. Vista Road – Roundabout construction – Mt. Vista Road leg of intersection is closed and detoured.  The detour is Sunshine Avenue to US 1 (Belair Road.)  Crews are preparing to re-open Mt. Vista Road and closing Glen Arm Road to construction the other half of the roundabout.  This most likely will occur on June 12.

Charles County

• MD 234 (Budds Creek Road) Bridge over Gilbert Swamp Run – Bridge replacement – Single lane closure guided by a temporary traffic signal until spring 2018.  

Dorchester County

• Eastbound MD 16 (Church Creek Road) to close at Woods Road. Woods Road closed south of MD 16 (Church Creek Road) – Roundabout construction – local detour in effect. 

Frederick County

• MD 194 (Woodsboro Pike) Bridge over Little Pipe Creek (at the Carroll County line) – Bridge replacement project –Bridge closed for 10 weeks for expedited replacement on June 17 until September 4, 2017.
 
• (US 15 Business) (N. Seton Avenue) between DePaul Street and MD 140 (Main Street) – Water line work for streetscape project – Total Closure on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 20 & 21. 
 
Washington County

• MD 63 (Spielman Road) Bridge over St. James Run – Culvert replacement – Total closure and detour between June 5 and August 14 to expedite the work.  Click here for more information.

Wicomico County

• Southbound US 13 ramp/bridge to the eastbound/southbound Salisbury Bypass – Bridge/ramp rehabilitation – Total closure and detour between June 16 and early September to expedite the work.  Click here for more information.

Baltimore County
 
• Inner loop and Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between MD 147 (Harford Road) and MD 41 (Perring Parkway) – Paving operations/Interchange reconstruction – Double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. each morning.

• Southbound I-95 on the Bridge over the Patapsco River (Baltimore/Howard County line) – Bridge deck (driving surface) sealing – Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays between 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.
 
Caroline/Queen Anne’s/Talbot counties

• MD 404 (Queen Anne Highway/Shore Highway) between US 50 (Ocean Gateway) and MD 309 (Starr Road) and MD 480 (Ridgely Road) and the Denton Bypass – Highway widening – Single lane closures with flagging operations possible in each direction of MD 404 Saturday and Sunday between 4 a.m. and 12 noon.  For an updated list of lane closures on this project, click here.

Montgomery County
 
• MD 190 (River Road) between MD 614 (Goldsboro Road) and the Washington D.C. line -  Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Fridays between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.  Crews will begin final paving on Monday night (weather/temperature permitting.)

• MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) between Johnson Lane and Sonoma Drive -  Roadway widening – Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
