Community Meeting Scheduled for September 14 Will Highlight Traffic and Construction Information
 
What:
 
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting an informational meeting about upcoming construction for the MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) / Suitland Parkway Interchange project in Prince George’s County.  The new diamond interchange will reduce congestion at the busy intersection. The project also includes realigning the Pennsylvania Avenue Service Road and Armstrong Lane, reconstruction of on- and off-ramps to Joint Base Andrews, construction of a new signalized intersection at Presidential Parkway and Central Park Drive, and widening of the existing bridge on Suitland Parkway. The work is expected to be complete by the end of the summer of 2021.
