PUBLIC MEETING FOR MD 180 /MT. ZION ROAD ROUNDABOUT PROJECT SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 22

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is planning to construct a roundabout on MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) at Mt. Zion Road in Frederick County. The project is scheduled to begin Summer 2019 and require temporary detours. Traffic will be temporarily detoured onto adjacent roadways while the roundabout is constructed.
 
Citizens are invited to attend a public meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, February 22. The purpose of the meeting is to acquaint the public with the project and provide attendees an opportunity to discuss project details. Displays will depict the expected traffic impacts and the proposed improvements. MDOT SHA representatives will be available to answer questions. There will be a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m.
