TRAFFIC ALERT – Right acceleration lane is closed from northbound MD 542 (Loch Raven Boulevard) to the inner loop I-695 for disabled over-sized load on right shoulder. Stop conditions are in place on the ramp from northbound MD 542 (Loch Raven Boulevard) to the inner loop. RECOMMEND motorists use the Cromwell Bridge Road interchange. TENTATIVELY – a large crane will be on-hand at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday to load the disabled payload onto a new transport. This will require a TOTAL INNER LOOP Closure at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Sunday.

• MD 436 (Ridgely Road) Swing bridge over Weems Creek – Swing bridge repair and maintenance – Bridge to open and subsequently close the road to vehicular traffic beginning at 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Motorists will be guided to use MD 70 (Rowe Boulevard) new

• Inner loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge – Drawbridge repair – (MDTA project) Inner loop I-695 closed and traffic in two-way operation using the outer loop of I-695 until November 2018.

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until summer 2019.

• Inner loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to northbound I-95 (Southwest Corner) – Ramp paving – Ramp to close and be detoured beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. new

• MD 76 (Motters Station Road) north of Bollinger Road – Emergency drainage pipe repair – Road to close and be detoured Sunday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Residents will have access to their homes. new

• Westbound I-70 between MD 75 (Green Valley Road) and the Monocacy River Bridge - Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. new

 

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

 

• HIGH-IMPACT - Southbound I-95 between MD 450 (Annapolis Road) and US 50 (John Hanson Highway – Emergency bridge deck work on structure over Amtrak – Triple closures beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 3 a.m. new

• Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between Edmonson Avenue and MD 144 (Frederick Road) – Overhead sign removal – Right merge lane to close from 7 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. new

 

• US 40 (Pulaski Highway) between Days Cove Road and the Harford County line – Paving and patching – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. (Eastbound US 40) and 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (Westbound US 40). Project to be complete by mid-September.

• US 13 Business (Market Street) Drawbridge over the Pocomoke River (Pocomoke City) – Drawbridge repair and maintenance – Drawbridge to be in the up position (closed to vehicular traffic) from August 6-13. Motorists will be guided to a detour to the fixed US 13 (Ocean Highway) Bridge over the Pocomoke River. new

 

• I-70 east of MD 615 (Heavenly Acres Drive) – Traffic counter deployment – Brief total closures last no longer than 10-15 minutes beginning at 11 p.m. Sunday until 1 a.m. Monday. Crews will retrieve the counters on Thursday night with the same hours. new

 

• I-81 between the Potomac River Bridge (West Virginia line) and MD 68/MD 63 (Lappans Road) – Highway widening project – Left lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m.
