• I-81 north of the Maryland line in Pennsylvania to be reduced to a single lane to repair damaged concrete slabs near the Pennsylvania Welcome Center. On the weekend of August 24, PENN DOT will begin the work at 10 p.m. Friday and continue until 6 a.m. Monday, or sooner should the work be complete earlier. Drivers may use US 15 northbound in Frederick County to the east, or I-70 through Breezewood to the west as alternate routes. new

• Inner loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge – Drawbridge repair – (MDTA project) Inner loop I-695 closed and traffic in two-way operation using the outer loop of I-695 until November 2018.

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until summer 2019.

• Inner loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to northbound I-95 **SW Corner** - Ramp resurfacing – Ramp closure and detour beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. new

• US 40 Alternate (East Main Street) at Coblentz Road – Pipe crossing for urban reconstruction project – US 40 Alternate to be closed Saturday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. new

• Eastbound Montrose Road ramp to northbound I-270 – Interchange ramp resurfacing – Ramp closure and detour Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. new

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

 

 

• MD 224 (Riverside Road) Bridge over Thorne Gut Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and through early September.

• Eastbound US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) between Fern Lane and Ridge Road – Roadside slope repair – Right truck “climbing” lane and shoulder closed until early-fall.

• MD 381 (Brandywine Road) Bridge over Timothy Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour.

 

• Westbound MD 175 (Annapolis Road) between Walker Drive and Reese Road – Highway widening project/paving operations – Westbound MD 174 will be shifted to the right starting August 28, as well as the left through lane. The shift and left lane closure will be in effect until mid-September. new

• Inner loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to northbound I-95 **SW Corner** - Ramp resurfacing – Ramp closure and detour on Monday night through Wednesday morning from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday. new

 

• Inner loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to southbound I-95 **SW Corner** - Ramp resurfacing – Ramp closure and detour on Wednesday night through Thursday morning from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday. new

 

• Northbound I-95 ramp to the inner loop of I-695 **SW Corner** - Ramp resurfacing – Ramp closure and detour on Thursday night through Friday morning from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday. new

 

• MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) between Hospital Drive and King Avenue – Pavement patching – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Project to be complete by late-September. new

 

 

• Southbound I-270 at MD 80 (Fingerboard Road) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures beginning Thursday, August 23 until Sunday, August 26 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. new

• MD 100 between east of Snowden River Parkway and east of US 1 (Washington Boulevard) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. each morning.

 

 

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between White Oak Drive and MD 193 (University Boulevard) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. new

• I-81 between the Potomac River Bridge (West Virginia line) and MD 68/MD 63 (Lappans Road) – Highway widening project – Left lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. There may be occasional, brief total closures to move equipment and material into place between 2 midnight and 4 a.m.

• MD 68 (Conococheague Street/Clear Spring Road) Bridge over Conococheague Creek – Under bridge debris removal – Traffic to be detoured on August 20 (pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be permitted to cross bridge) between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. new
