Special event (business parade) – Motorists should expect delays due to temporary lane closures Sunday, November 4 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. MD 177 (Mountain Road) will be affected.

 

• MD 175 (Annapolis Road) at Milestone Parkway (just east of MD 295) - Utility work for interchange reconstruction project – Single lane closure on Milestone Parkway Saturday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. new

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until summer 2019.

• Inner loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge – Drawbridge repair – (MDTA project) Inner loop I-695 closed and traffic in two-way operation using the outer loop of I-695 until mid-November 2018.

• HIGH -IMPACT - MD 355 (Urbana Pike) between Ball Road and Reels Mill Road – Pipe replacement – Total closure and detour beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. Motorists will be guided to Araby Church Road, which runs parallel to MD 355. new

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at MD 28 (Norbeck Road) – Final paving for intersection improvement project - Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. new

• Northbound I-270 between Democracy Boulevard and Montrose Road - Resurfacing - Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 190 (River Road) between Seven Locks Road and I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Resurfacing - Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

 

• Eastbound Padonia Road ramp to northbound I-83 – Ramp closure for bridge replacement project – Motorists will be guided to Deerco Road to the I-83/Timonium Road interchange.

• Eastbound US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) between Fern Lane and Ridge Road – Roadside slope repair – Right truck “climbing” lane and shoulder closed. 2-3 weeks remaining.

 

• MD 32 between Linden Church Road and Broadwater Lane – Traffic switch for highway widening project – Southbound MD 32 ramp onto Linden Church Road exit ramp is closed and detoured until mid-November.

 

• US 301 (Crain Highway) between Frank Tippett Road and Trumps Hill Road - Gas pipeline construction and installation (Washington Gas project) – Single right lane closure through spring 2019.

• US 13 (Ocean Highway) northbound over Pocomoke River at the Worcester/Somerset county line – Bridge work – Northbound US 13 bridge over Pocomoke River has been reduced to one 12-foot lane for bridge work through the late-fall.

 

 

• MD 349 (Nanticoke Road) Rockawalkin Road – Washout/major road repair – MD 349 is closed and detoured until early 2019.

 

 

• MD 181 (6th Street) Bridge over Spa Creek – Routine drawbridge maintenance – Tests openings periodically between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. new

 

 

• MD 140 (Main Street) Bridge over Flat Run – Bridge replacement project/beam placement – On Wednesday, November 7 at 8 p.m., motorists can expect total, brief 15-20-minute total stoppages on MD 140. This will continue, periodically, until 5 a.m. Thursday, November 8. new

 

• Northbound I-270 at MD 109 (Old Hundred Road) – Paving/line striping – On northbound I-270 - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between White Oak Drive and MD 193 (University Boulevard) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between north of Goldmine Road and south of Holiday Drive - Bypass construction – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• I-81 between the Potomac River Bridge (West Virginia line) and MD 68/MD 63 (Lappans Road) – Highway widening project – Left lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. There may be occasional, brief total closures to move equipment and material into place between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.

 

• Westbound I-70 Bridge over I-81 – Bridge deck grooving – Single lane closures beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday until 5 a.m. Thursday. new

 

• Eastbound MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Emerald Lane and Calvert Way – Lane shift for intersection improvement project – Sunday, November 11 at 8 p.m., single lane closures in each direction of MD 26 until 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12.
