***TRAFFIC ALERT*** MDOT SHA BEGINS RECONSTRUCTION OF US 1 IN COLLEGE PARK

​(June 3, 2020) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will begin lane closures today as part of the US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) from College Avenue to MD 193 (University Boulevard) Corridor Improvement Project.

Motorists can expect northbound and southbound single left lane closures on US 1 from Knox Road to Rossborough Lane, Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. As the project progresses, motorists can expect additional lane closures on US 1 and MD 193.
