Emergency bridge deck repair closes two right lanes on the westbound I-70 Bridge over the Patapsco River at the Baltimore/Howard County line. A single left lane gets by. This repair could last through the weekend. MDOT SHA has retimed the traffic signals on WB US 40 (Baltimore-National Pike) to provide longer through time. Use WB US 40 to NB US 29 and back to WB I-70.

• Inner loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge – Drawbridge repair – (MDTA project) Inner loop I-695 closed and traffic in two-way operation using the outer loop of I-695 until November 2018.

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until summer 2019.

• US 40 Alternate (East Main Street) at Schoolhouse Drive – Pipe crossing for urban reconstruction project – US 40 Alternate to be closed Saturday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. new

• Westbound I-70 between MD 75 (Green Valley Road) and the Monocacy River Bridge - Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.

• HIGH-IMPACT - Westbound I-70 Bridge over the Patapsco River – Emergency bridge repair – Two right lane closed (only left gets by) possibly into the weekend. Use WB US 40 to NB US 29 and back to WB I-70. new

• HIGH-IMPACT - Inner loop I-495 (Capital Beltway) at MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) – Bridge joint repairs – Single, double and triple lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9:00 p.m. until 5 a.m. through the end of August. new

• Eastbound Montrose Road ramp to northbound I-270 – Interchange ramp resurfacing – Ramp closure and detour Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. new

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

 

 

 

• MD 137 (Mt. Carmel Road) Bridge over Tributary to Peggy’s Run (west of Pleasant Meadow Road) – Bridge washout – Road closed and detoured. Target opening August 13.

 

• MD 224 (Riverside Road) Bridge over Thorne Gut Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and through end of August.

• Eastbound US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) between Fern Lane and Ridge Road – Roadside slope repair – Right truck “climbing” lane and shoulder closed until late-August.

• MD 381 (Brandywine Road) Bridge over Timothy Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour until late-August.

 

 

 

• Edmonson Avenue ramp to the outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) – Concrete deck pour associated with outer loop I-695 widening project – Flagging operation from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday. new

• US 40 (Pulaski Highway) between Days Cove Road and the Harford County line – Paving and patching – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. (Eastbound US 40) and 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (Westbound US 40). Project to be complete by mid-September.

 

 

• MD 100 between east of Snowden River Parkway and east of US 1 (Washington Boulevard) – Resurfacing project – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. each morning.

 

 

• US 13 Business (Market Street) Drawbridge over the Pocomoke River (Pocomoke City) – Drawbridge repair and maintenance – Drawbridge to be in the up position (closed to vehicular traffic) from August 6-13. Motorists will be guided to a detour to the fixed US 13 (Ocean Highway) Bridge over the Pocomoke River. Project to open Monday, August 13.

• I-81 between the Potomac River Bridge (West Virginia line) and MD 68/MD 63 (Lappans Road) – Highway widening project – Left lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. There may be occasional, brief total closures to move equipment and material into place between 2 midnight and 4 a.m.
