The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) places its draft Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Implementation Plan on 30-day public notice and solicits comments, as required under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit. Currently, there are no new TMDL Implementation Plans for review and written comments are not being accepted at this time.
When draft TMDL Implementation Plan(s) are posted for the public comment period, written comments can be sent using one of the following methods:

Material comments received during the comment period will be considered and the draft plan will be revised prior to submittal to the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE).
