Maryland One Hauling Permits

​We are working to resolve the issues caused by the Microsoft outage caused by a CrowdStrike issue.  Our Maryland One permit system is hosted in Microsoft Azure,  this is affecting our services.  When we have additional details, we will keep you posted as our team works to resolve this issue. Traffic Alert US 301/MD405 Median Restriction

Traffic alert for the US 301/MD 405 median restriction.  Commercial vehicle drivers should be encouraged to consider US 301 median widths at other crossovers in planning their routes. 

Alcohol Permits

Permits for hauling alcohol can be obtained by contacting the Maryland Alcohol, Tobacco and Cannabis Commission at transportation.permits@maryland.gov

​100k Containerized Cargo Permits

100k Containerized Cargo Permits--State Highway Administration, Baltimore City DOT and the Port of Baltimore are providing a Special Hauling permit for containerized cargo up to and including 100k with 6 axles, following all containerized cargo regulations available temporarily free of charge.  Your delivery needs are important to us during this critical time, feel free to reach out to us with your concerns regarding permitting and routing issues at  haulingpermits@mdot.maryland.gov
