US 29 INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT INFORMATIONAL MEETING SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 26

What: 

The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting an informational meeting for the US 29 (Columbia Pike) / Fairland Road /Musgrove Road project, part of traffic operations and safety improved planned for the US 29 corridor.

The proposed project includes construction of a new interchange at Fairland Road that will provide full access to and from US 29; a new roundabout on Musgrove Road east of Columbia Pike that will improve access to and from northbound US 29; intersection improvements at Fairland Road/Old Columbia Pike; pedestrian and bicycle facilities, including a shared-use pedestrian/bicycle path parallel to US 29 and new and reconstructed sidewalks and pedestrian ramps; drainage system upgrades; stormwater management facilities; and landscaping and architectural treatments.

When:  

Thursday, February 26 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
A brief presentation is scheduled to start at 6:45 p.m.
