(September 29, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is advising motorists to anticipate heavy traffic on several state roads over the next several weekends around the annual Maryland Renaissance Festival complex on Crownsville Road in Anne Arundel County. The event continues 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through October 24.

Routes expected to be affected include I-97, MD 178 (Generals Highway) and MD 450 (Defense Highway), as well as local roadways in the region.
