• I-83/Belfast Road Interchange – Interchange traffic sign upgrades - Rolling operation to replace traffic signs on I-83 North and South and on Belfast Road within the interchange area.  Daytime shoulder and single lane closures possible at the interchange 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 10.           
• MD 122 (Security Blvd.) from Rolling Rd to East of I-695 - Highway Maintenance roadway milling, patching and resurfacing - Weeknight single lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday-Thursday through late fall 2021.

Carroll County    

• MD 32 (Sykesville Road) between MD 97 (New Washington Road) and the Liberty Reservoir bridge, south of Miners Ridge Road - Highway maintenance - Roadway patching project with a flagging operation on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The project is about 50 percent complete and should be finished this month.

• I-270: Exit ramp from southbound I-270 to northbound MD 85 and exit ramp from northbound MD 85 to southbound I-270 - Pipe installation - Overnight closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday night through Friday. The work and closures are expected to continue through the fall season.        
• MD 26 (Liberty Road) between MD 194 and Chestnut Grove Road– Highway maintenance pavement patching and overlay – Single lane closures Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews are now paving MD 26 followed by paving of the side streets and driveway aprons. The project is expected to be complete in mid-December.
• MD 17 (Burkittsville Road) between US 340 and the border of Burkittsville, north of Brownsville Pass Road – Highway maintenance pavement patching and overlay – Single lane closures Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews are finished paving and now installing pavement markers and striping. The project is expected to be complete the first week of December.

Garrett County      

• MD 495 between I-68 and Durst Road – Patching - Flagging operation will be in place 7 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday.  

Harford County    

• MD 165 from MD 24 (Rocks Road) to North Harford High School driveway - Highway maintenance pavement patching – Overnight single lane closures and flagging operations on this section of MD 165 overnight, Sunday-Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day through late fall 2021.  
• MD 624 (Graceton Rd.) from MD 165 (Pylesville Rd.) to MD/PA State line – Highway Maintenance paving work - Weekday single lane closures with flagging operations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and on Saturdays when needed between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. through late fall 2021.  
• MD 924 South (Kenmore Avenue) between US 1 and Main Street, and MD 924 (Emmorton Road) between Ring Factory Road and Plumtree Road -Roadway resurfacing and traffic signal upgrades - Occasional final concrete work on sections of MD 924 with temporary lane closures through late fall 2021.  MD 924 from Ring Factory Road to Plumtree Rd. Howard County

• MD 108 (Clarksville Pike) between Linden Linthicum Lane and the Little Patuxent River bridge, east of Davidge Drive – Highway maintenance patching and resurfacing - Single lane closures with a flagging operation Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. Crews are paving side streets and driveway aprons now to connect to MD 108. Afterward, they will add pavement markings and striping to finish the project in mid-December.

Baltimore County

• Cove Road bridge over I-695 - Bridge deck replacement - On I-695, daytime single lane closures in both directions may occur Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight lane closures Sunday-Thursday between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day. On the Cove Road bridge over I-695, long-term single lane closures are in effect, with two-way traffic on the southern (eastbound) side of the bridge deck.   
  I-70 bridges over Patapsco River and CSX Rail Line at Baltimore/Howard Co. Line – Bridge Parapet Rehabilitation-Single Lane closures Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight single and double lane closures Sunday - Thursday between 7 p.m.  and 5 a.m. the next morning. Lane closures permitted when needed on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.                     
• I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway) North and South Bridges over Padonia Road – Dual Bridge replacement and interchange improvements. There may be single lane closures on I-83 North and I-83 South between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. Single lane closures on Padonia Rd. West between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and between 8 p.m.  and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday.  Detours of Padonia Rd. underneath I-83 possible on any weeknight (Sunday-Thursday) between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning. Note: Interchange Ramp from Padonia Road East to I-83 North closed 24 hours/7 days until project is complete.                        
• MD 695A (Broening Hwy.) between Maryland Ave. and east of Ralls Ave. at Baltimore City/County Line in Dundalk - Roadway Resurfacing and Safety Improvements – Daytime single lane closures on Broening Highway between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday.  Overnight double lane closures with traffic lane shifts on Broening Hwy. between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday.      
• US 40 Dual Bridges over Little Gunpowder Falls and (Big) Gunpowder Falls – Four bridges to be replaced between White Marsh and Joppatowne – Motorists should expect temporary single lane closures on eastbound and westbound US 40 during the following off-peak times:  Daytime (Monday-Saturday) Westbound US 40: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Eastbound US 40: 7 a.m.  to 4 p.m.  Overnight (Sunday-Thursday) Westbound and Eastbound US 40:  7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day. 
• Note:  The lanes on the eastbound and westbound US 40 bridges over the (Big) Gunpowder Falls will be split until early spring 2022.  Possible Traffic Impact in Harford County.    
• US 1 (Washington Blvd.) Bridge over CSX Transportation rail lines – Bridge replacement –  Clarke Blvd. at US 1 is closed/detoured 24 hours, 7 days/week for one year.  Posted detour route includes Selford Rd., Francis Ave., Oregon and Carville Aves., Tom Day Blvd. and US 1 Alt. (Southwestern Blvd.).    
• MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Brenbrook Drive and N. Rolling Road - ADA Sidewalk Reconstruction/Upgrades - Temporary single lane closures on MD 26 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday and between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday-Thursday through spring 2022.               
• MD 43 (White Marsh Blvd.) at Honeygo Blvd. - Intersection Widening and Improvements - Temporary daytime lane closures on MD 43 and Honeygo Blvd. legs of the intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and overnight lane closures at any time between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. When necessary, there will be temporary lane closures on weekends, 7 a.m.-1 p.m.                                      
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between Painters Mill Rd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd. – Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Crews are installing new 36-inch water main from Owings Mills Blvd. to East Pleasant Hill Road with connections to fire hydrants and buildings along MD 140. Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. between Owings Mills Blvd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday-Thursday nights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day.  Access to all driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures.         
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between E. Pleasant Hill Rd. and Stocksdale Ave. – Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Daytime single lane closures Monday-Friday 9 a.m. -3 p.m. between E. Pleasant Hill Rd and Stocksdale Ave.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday-Thursday nights between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next day.  Access to driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures.    
• MD 147 (Harford Rd.) / Joppa Rd. - Intersection Improvements - Daytime single lane closures and flagging operations on Harford and Joppa Road in the vicinity of the intersection Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Fridays.  Overnight work with lane closures Sunday-Thursday 9 p.m.-5 a.m. the next day.  Traffic lane shift in effect 24/7 along southbound MD 147 before and after Joppa Road to be in effect on or after December 8. • MD 151 (Sparrows Pt. Blvd.) / Wharf Road (MD 151 B) Interchange - Three-bridge replacement project at interchange.  The southbound side of the existing MD 151 bridge is closed and two-way traffic - one lane in each direction - runs on the northbound side of the bridge.  This will be in effect for the next year and will enable partial demolition of the existing bridge over Wharf Road and future construction of the new bridge.  This is in addition to the detours of southbound and northbound Wharf Road at the interchange.  
• Notes: The northbound side of MD 151 is closed between the Baltimore County Highways Maintenance Shop (1500 block) and the Wharf Rd. Interchange.  Two-way traffic runs on the southbound side of MD 151, one lane in each direction. The existing ramp from northbound MD 151 to southbound Wharf Road is open for local traffic only. 

Cecil County

• MD 279 (Elkton Road) at MD 277 (Fletchwood Road) – Northbound MD 279 is reduced to a single lane at the MD 277 intersection near the Delaware line and shifted across the median to a contraflow pattern (one lane in each direction).  This is part of the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDot) reconstruction of route 279.  Updated                                  

Frederick County

• Northbound US 15 Bridge over MD 77 – Bridge Deck replacement project - The bridge deck replacement project started on Friday, December 3. The project will close one travel lane as crews work on that side of the bridge, complete that lane and then switch to the other side. Each side of the bridge is expected to take six to eight months to finish. The entire project is expected to be complete by spring 2023. New   
• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) southbound from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road) I-270 acceleration lane expansion project. Single and multiple off-peak lane closures, weekdays 9:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. through year-end 2021.  Possible Traffic Impact in Frederick County.  

Harford County

• Old Joppa Road Bridge over I-95 (MDTA project) – Bridge replacement project – Old Joppa Road closed and locally detoured.                                      
• Clayton Road bridge over I-95 between MD 152 and MD 24 (MDTA project) - Clayton Road closed and detoured until early 2022.                                     
• MD 24 (Vietnam Veterans Memorial Hwy.) - from US 1 Bypass to MacPhail Road - Pavement resurfacing project - Overnight single lane closures and traffic shifts Sunday through Thursday 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. through mid-fall 2021. Maryland State Police will control traffic when needed during work at intersections.           

Montgomery County

• US 29 (Colesville Road) from St. Andrews Way to Stewart Lane. -Safety and resurfacing project - Single daytime lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single/multiple off-peak overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year-end 2021.                                
• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) from north of Gold Mine Road to south of Holiday Drive. - Roadway relocation project - Intermittent single northbound and southbound lane closures weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through year-end 2022.                                        
• MD 190 (River Road) from MD 188 (Wilson Lane) to MD 614 (Goldsboro Road). Roadway improvement project. Single lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and multiple lane closures, overnight, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year-end 2021.                                                    
• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) from Interstate 70 to I-495 (Capital Beltway). Traffic congestion relief construction project - Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single, double and triple overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent temporary ramp closures with detours up to 24 hours a day through year-end 2022.           
• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) southbound from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road). I-270 acceleration lane expansion project. • Seminary Road from Hale Street to MD 192 (Forest Glen Road) - Bridge rehabilitation project - Intermittent left and right single northbound and southbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late fall 2021.

Intermittent single weekday single lane closures, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and intermittent off-peak single and multiple lane closures with intermittent full traffic stops, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late fall 2021.                                               

Prince George’s County

• US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) College Ave. to MD 193 (University Boulevard) - US 1 Reconstruction Project - Corridor Improvement- Northbound and southbound single lane closures throughout the length of the project Saturday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. through late summer 2023.                           
• MD 5 (Branch Avenue) from the DC Line to the intersection of Curtis Drive.  Safety and resurfacing project. Intermittent/temporary single and multiple MD 5 northbound off-peak lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., overnight, Sunday through Thursday 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and weekends, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Intermittent/temporary single and multiple MD 5 southbound off-peak lane closures weekdays, 6 a.m. to 12 noon overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and intermittent/temporary single and multiple MD 637 single lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through late spring 2022.   
• MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) at Kerby Hill Road/Livingston Road. Interchange construction project. Intermittent single and multiple-off peak lane closures on all roads, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year-end 2021.         
• MD 212A (Powder Mill Road) from Pine Street to US 1 (Baltimore Avenue). Roadway reconstruction project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through late summer 2022.          
• Eastbound MD 214 (Central Avenue) ramp to northbound I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway). Bridge construction project. Full ramp closure with detour through year-end 2021. Drivers should use the signed detour route of eastbound MD 214 to northbound MD 202 (Largo Road) to westbound MD 214 to access northbound I-95/I-495).            
• MD 500 (Queens Chapel Road) from Eastern Avenue to MD 208 (Hamilton Street). Community safety and enhancement project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through late summer 2022.        
• Southbound I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) ramp to eastbound MD 214 (Central Avenue) – Bridge replacement project – Total ramp closure with traffic using the Capital Beltway/MD 202 (Largo Road) interchange and then to MD 214 via MD 202 to year-end 2021.              
• I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) over Suitland Road. Bridge replacement project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and weekends, Saturday night 6 p.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday morning through late fall 2021.       
• I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) from Suitland Road to MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue). Suitland Parkway bridge replacement project. Road shoulder closure permissible 24 hours daily, intermittent single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through year end 2021.

Washington County

• I-70 East and Westbound at the MD 65 Interchange – Bridge rehabilitation and widening of I 70 bridge over MD 65- Left shoulder closed EB/WB long term for phase 1 work. Intermittent, single lane closures at nighttime from Sunday through Thursday between midnight and 5 a.m. on I-70. Additionally, alternating/single lane closures will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weekdays on MD 65 north and south.
